Trade 1995 D90 for 2003-2004 DiscoII?
I bought a 1995 AA Yellow D90 this past June (I believe it was June?). I bought it with the intent to travel, and not so much to offroad. I love the truck to death, it is a blast to drive, but I am afraid that ultimately, as far as traveling goes, at 13 MPG, it isn`t the greatest. With that said, I am toying around with the idea of trading it in for a 2003 or 2004 Disco2. I am well aware that the Discos arn`t THAT much better as far as MPG, but every little bit counts, and as anyone who drives a D90 knows, it adds up quick. I am in no need of trading, but if I come across an offer that sounds like it would suit me, I am definately interested in a trade.
A bit about the truck: 1995, AA Yellow ST. 65K miles. Less than 200 miles on it since I had the tranny rebuilt, and the rear engine seal replaced. 3" RoverTym lift, black American Racing steel wheels, 33" Super Swampers (50%? tread left), Jack McNamara locking diffs. front and rear, Tuffy center console, steel braded break lines, Shrockworks tire carrier with 2 jerry cans, Safari Gard rock sliders, borla exhaust, Dixon Bate 5 ton towing jaw.
Issues with the truck: it has the normal ware and tear of a 10 year old truck. A couple of minor dents here and there, nothing major by any means. No stereo, no door panels. Rust on the hinges. NO other signs of rust. Very clean underneath. It does have a 3" lift, so it has the grinding associated with that. Other than that, it runs strong.
I am into the truck at just under $30k, so a straight across trade for a low miles 2003-2004 Disco2 would be ideal.
