hey Clay, why don't you just put a $59k price on it? i mean we'll think $49 is ok on here, but you can get someone to buy it off you for $59k I bet.

Randy,
Maybe it is to low on the price I have thought about starting high and working down but I think I adjusted the price accordingly as it an NAS truck but a "Special Construction Title" and not a NAS VIN so on the forum that would be a hard pill for somefolks to swallow. If I were to go the ebay route then I could see putting a higher reserve on it. The frame was never crumpled and it still has the factory 93 stampings on it and the surviving original NAS pieces (bulkhead, seat box, tub, inner fender wells, footwells) were not damaged other than normal wear and tear when I started it.
Will see but thank you for thinking it is worth something more than where it is priced.

So in the state of registry what does special construction mean? Is it normally insurable and legal to drive on the road...plated and such? Just curious...You did a fine job Clay, She's real pretty...

What kind of spares are going with her?

Beautiful build. Is this an automatic conversion?

Special Construction titles are subject to DMV inspections, which means you are left in the hands of a government worker to inspect the truck.....scary! Do you have the receipts from the parts used for the build?

For CA they would not honor my special construction paperwork which I completed back in 2010 for obtaining a VIN as they said it either resembled a current in production car OR was assembled from parts that were shipped from oversees and assembled hence making it what used to be know as a "Grey Market Car".

For AZ - they inspected the frame, engine and body paperwork, looked over the vehicle an assigned it a VIN stamp on the door sill and handed me paperwork for titling which I did the very same day. So now I have a 2014 "Spec" (as the title reads) 2 door vehicle and AZ tags.

Yes it is insured through State Farm as it has a VIN and is legal to drive. I have not tried to register it in NC as I feel it is not a necessity as it was always my intention to complete it and sell it for the kids college funds (kid at first and then woops not sure how it happened but ended up with 2 .

Interesting...I don't think there would be a problem in any state at this point with the Az paperwork in hand.
