Spectre - Defender 127 For Sale

Hi All,

We don't normally post our vehicles for sale on here but I thought this one may be of interest to a few people.

We started off with this truck two years ago, Stephen at Safari hooked us up with the truck and actually drove to collect it for me whilst I was back in the UK for Christmas. It has been a very slow restoration whilst we have built customer orders, but we finally managed to finish it off.

4.6 RPI stage 3 performance engine with a triple intake carbon fibre plenum
ZH4HP24 Automatic transmission with compu-shift
LT230 Transfer Case
Non locking Upgraded Ashcroft axles with limited slip rear + 4:37:1 ratios
External roll cage with spot lamps
18 Boost wheels with 325/65R18 BFG KO2s 2 Terrafirma lift kit
Upgraded control arms, shock mounts and upgraded steering package
Galvanized Chassis
Performance K&N air filter, Dual performance exhaust, Upgraded EBC rotors, pads, A.P Caparo calipers
Double DIN Pioneer app radio with GPS/Bluetooth/iPhone/Android control + mirror link, Fully amplified JBL audio system with subwoofer
ARB front bumper with Warn winch, Rock sliders, LED spot lamps, roof bars and rack, custom A bar rear bed, custom grab rails, custom rear bumper with work lights
AC, Heated door mirrors, Heated seats, Remote start/tracking app controlled, Power front windows
LED lighting upgrade throughout, Custom ECD gauge package, Alcantara headliner, ECD custom carpet kit, Hand stitched door cards, Momo sports steering wheel, Hand stitched leather Corbeau front seats and matching Puma rear seats, Puma hand stitched leather dash and centre console

We have put a massive amount into this truck and aimed for the best available, we do absolutely love the final product.

We are asking $179,995.00 OBO on this truck.

You can see more images of the build on our East Coast Defender Facebook site here https://www.facebook.com/Eastcoastdefender/

Thanks!

Tom

Fyi, the Defender in Spectre is a 110, not a 127. Very nice build though! GLWTS.

Ha Yes we knew that, just thought with the timing and style it kind of made sense...maybe not to all but it did at the time!

Sweet looking truck. Could you post up some closer shots of the corners, wings and the crossmember.....is that diamond plate or 5-bar?

How did you set up the gauges in the dash since its a puma dash. Do you have a pic of that?

I thought you could use puma guages with a v8. Didn't safari do that on a build? I've seen it on a truck with ls1 in person but i didn't drive it to see if it all worked.

I'll go into the shop later on and get some close ups, we used a pretty thick sheet of checker plate steel from a local cutter and raptor lined it, mounted on the cross member then mounted two LED spots on which can be flicked on when reversing.

We have custom gauges made for our trucks. These work very well, we have tested them with a few blocks and they work each time. I'll get some close up dash images later on today.

Sharp! Very very nice. But why wouldn't you stay consistent with the tread plate all throughout? Since your wings are stock 5-bar, why not the rear quarters and crossmember? Not slamming, just curious. Glwts

Thanks! We used a thicker steel on the crossmember and rear panels where we have cut the exhaust out. We wanted it nice and thick here, but it looked a bit silly on the wings so we went with the more traditional checkers there. We have ordered the same for the side lower sills but it didn't turn up in time for our photos. It will carry the look through.

Certainly am Jeff, it's my company. Family business with my wife and brother, plus our other 12 staff.

I've asked the mods here to make my account a business so it is clear, but haven't had a response as yet.

Was just referring to the sticker price and didn't want to quote entire original listing...

Apologies if it appeared I was claiming some sort of affiliation...

Jeff,
I think Kevin tried to quote the price in his first post causing the confusion. After watching the posted link by Kevin it should clear things up.
