JFYI this truck will not register in CA with installed TDI engine.
Some times I wish I live somewhere else - would love to have a diesel engine.

Each internal panel was individually Rhino lined. All stainless throughout. All bolts sprayed with Corrosion X HD. Cubby installed. Rear bench included, but not installed.

Why? I know of two NAS 97 trucks in CA with tdis that are registered.

Granted both were registered in CA then converted. Each was taken to the DMV where the titles were updated to show they were converted to diesel and are now smog exempt.

Not sure it would matter if it was diesel before coming into CA.

CA is actually okay with conversions on NAS trucks. Registering a ROW Gas or Diesel truck is another story.

TDI engine in truck is not CA compliant.
Buyer would have to swap with another CA compliant engine.

Not to divert the thread. It's an awesome truck... New owner should be very happy.
Glws!

Most of the stuff in the other link applies to non NAS trucks. I have never seen an issue with a NAS truck in CA being converted to a Land Rover diesel engine.

Either way GLWTS
