Series One 80" for sale

For sale- 1950 Series One 80" parade vehicle with an extended bed. This vehicle has an Arabic license plate on it, which has been told to me to possibly be from the country of Jordan. It has parts on it that were originally chromed like the side rails, backrest brackets, grab bar on the dash and the wiper arms. There is a second rear crossmember welded on the back of the original so as to extend the bed. The tops of the wheel wells in the bed use to have ribbed rubber matting. It has a 1.6 ltr 4 cyl. engine, original tailgate, doors, bonnet, grill w/grill assy. and 2 fenders from another Series One. I don't have the time to get into this project so I am selling it to someone who might want an interesting vehicle. I have more detail photos of the vehicle. Asking $2000.00. Has no title or registration.

Between the early seats, later bumper mounts, and and lack of bulkhead lights, I can't figure out when it was made. Do you have a serial number?

The 2 door Range Rover was sold last year. I actually had 3 Series Ones. I disassembled a 1951 for parts, and I have a 1952 80" ex-army that I want to rebuild. The 1950 should be rebuilt and I do not have the time in my life to tackle 2 rebuilds. I am just trying to finish my 1959 Series II, and also finishing getting a 1990 Range Rover road worthy. Once the Range Rover is on the road I will take the Badger off the road for a 3.5 Range Rover V8 transplant.

The 1950 serial number is 06109831.

Hey Chris, I'll trade you my 3.9/R380/LT230 for some of the 109 work...you can put that in your 88.

Ready to drop in and plumb. It lacks only the shift lever assembly that bolts to the top of the R380. Has mounts, alt, PSP, manis, O2 sensors, remoted IGN module, and is clean not grungy and funky. I even have a y pipe with gaskets for it.
I can send you pix this weekend.

evilfij: I'm restoring a 1950 80 with nearly obliterated body. Can you PM me pics of your parts?

I think "local" for 80 parts involves being on the same continent. At any rate, I have a vast collection of not great 80 panels, so I'll pass. Thanks for the heads up though!
