Series IIA 109 SW w Ford 302

Not my truck, but it looks to be in great shape from what I can see. I am the current president of the Florida Land Rover Club and I get all the emails about trucks for sale in Florida.

If someone is interested email me at srpeters@unitech1.com and I will forward the email from the owner to you directly.

Asking price is 4800.00 and the truck is located in St. Petersburg FL.

Here is most of the email from the owner........

A 1964 Land Rover Series 2A 5 door 109 w/ safari top. Motor conversion to a 1972 Ford 302. New Exhaust, carb. front vent seals and levers. $4800.00 Photos can be seen at http://home.earthlink.net/~kkologiski/Rover.html

"For Those Who Have Never Driven a Old Land Rover, This Truck has Manual Drum Brakes, Manual Steering, Non-sync 4 Speed Transmission, No AC, No Radio and a Positive Ground Electical System. All of this means it drives and rides like a 1950's dump truck. "

LOL!

Jeff

That truck should have indepenant wipers and the wire steering wheel. I think I know the guy that set it up. At the time he had a huge warehouse that was fully of Series Parts. It was likely peieced together with random parts from various years.

Series are my things, if I had the cash I would grab it as a woods beater. Keeping in mind I don't know the truck or the owner, but it seems like a good deal for a toy.

Can't restore it as it has been chopped at the firewall and the lower rear quarters hve been trimmed, not to mention the rear cross member has been altered.
