Series 2 SWB Pickup

I have a rust free Series two 88 pickup for sale. It has no corrosion damage or previous repairs to the firewall or frame. Runs well, shifts well, stops great. New power brakes, new exhaust, new alternator conversion, new tires, suspension and more. Working warn winch, warn locking hubs, class three reciever. This truck is a solid driver with lots of goodies. Asking 6700. Located in Springfield OR 97477. Call 317-289-3000.

If I had to guess about the fate of Hoffmans 80 inchers I would say:

1) tree falls on them (all five)

2) Susan burns them all in a fit of spite

3) The planets align while simultaneously hell freezes over. He actually gets off his ass and begins working on them. He is crushed beneath one as he attempts to work on it when the trombone slides that he brazed together into a jack stand fail. His carcass is consumed by his feral pack of pommeranians.

I dont think he will ever let go of them. In terms of likelyhood, Id say its a tie between #2 and #3.

The pony carcass will have to finish rotting before the brush can be cleared so the 80's can be drug out of the creek with the three wheeled crane.

Seems like there are old car guys that are like crazy old cat women. They horde the things and don't even take care of them - or they feed the cats and live in squalor. Its a sickness, not a hobby.

Do you have the VIN numbers? How about more pics? I have been searching for the first NAS SI for a while.

Mark is a cool guy, and actually a friend. He has probably owned more rovers than the entirety of D-90.com. Nobody is perfect, his flaws are just more interesting and humurous than maybe yours are. You can read an article I wrote about him here:

Oh, I thought this guy was roundly despised and denying people from buying and restoring the trucks out of spite and hate for the world. Talk about reading into something. I think I'll go hire a male prostitute.

I dont really agree with his hording. But they are his, and he does actually appreciate them, he just cant get from idea to action when it comes to caring for them. He has an outstanding collection of Mazda MPV 4wd minivans and mid 80s ford broncos as well.

Mark is the guy I bought my original load of parts from to make my CrewCab out of. An interesting trip to Eugene to say the least.
