Selling a Fastback 1995 D-90
I am new to the forum but have had fun getting to read all of your posts. You guys seem to know an incredible amount about Defenders.
I am selling a yellow Fastback D-90, 1995. It has 37K miles, A/C, a soft top, and has a great sound system -- I have been the owner for a year and a half. The truck was given to me as a gift by my godmother (I know, nice gift). She shipped it to me in Virginia from the Nevada area around November of 2007 (she bought it from her brother who was the second owner). I've had it up in Boston for about a year (I'm now back in Virginia and it's garaged outside of Boston with a Land Rover specialist). I'm about to apply to medical schools right now and it's not practical for me to own this large thing. Also, from what I can tell from reading y'all's posts, it seems that this cool vehicle should be with someone who can properly appreciate it.
I don't have pictures to post yet although I am working on getting them from the gentleman who is holding the truck for me. It's got a couple of tiny tears in the soft top (very, very minor and hardly noticeable) and a little rust on the back right rear bumper. All in all though, it's in excellent shape. Because it has spent most of it's "life" out west, it's really held up extremely well and is beautiful and intimidating to look at. I am asking $27500 (but would probably take $26500 for it.) I had the price at $29500 but the economy is in such a state, I knocked down the price. Please let me know if you live in the MA area -- it would be best if you can see it locally although I am trying to work it out to get good pictures of it.
Thanks and I appreciate any thoughts you have.
