ROW 110 LHD 300 tdi Feeler

Hey Guys,
This is somewhat of a feeler.
I have a 1987 ROW 110 that currently is in Toronto. I enjoy the truck, but have my eye on a D90 ST. It hasn't been in N.A. long, and I do have some of the history from overseas. It spent the majority of its life in Saudi Arabia. I had the truck refurbished in England, including the engine swap from a V8 to the 300tdi and the proper R380. The 300 tdi has roughly 70,000 km on it, although the speedo says 130,000 km.
I will have it up on the hoist this week, and plan on getting some great shots of the underneath for you, although I can tell you its perfectly solid and rust free. I will also take photos of footwells, doors, crossmember, and battery compartment. Here are some pics so you have a good idea of what it looks like.

1987 ROW 110 Tonga Green
-Left Hand Drive
-300 tdi R380 Trany
-Rebel A bar tubular Winch Bumper and Britpart DBi9500 Winch
-Steering Guard
-2 Rear work Lamps
-5 new BFG ATs 265/85/R16's on Boost Alloys
-Exmoor outlast seats in front and load area- Middle row Recovered with Exmoor outlast re-trim
-Heavy duty acoustic matting throughout
-Headliner was re-covered
-Tree sliders
-Puma Style Bonnet and Raised Land Rover lettering

I have had a hard time finding a comparable for price, so feel free to make offers and or suggestions at what you think a fair price would be.

Nice truck! Unless I am mistaken, none of us poor saps here in the U.S. can import your 110 until 2012.

Wolf fab-
Your right for the most part. It will appeal to the Canadians more so- However, since my job requires me to move back and forth from the U.S. and Canada quite a bit I can bring and register the truck in the USA along with my other personal effects- . Also I have noticed a few 110's that are the same year as mine and even newer? I am not sure how they make their way into the U.S.??? But they seem to get there somehow or another.

How much do you need to get for this truck? I have to tell you it is Beautiful. Maybe my next trip to Iraq will help me to finance this truck. Thanks Travis

Brenter, are you offering to register your truck in the US before you sell it? I'd be interested in more pics and any documentation you have on the refurbishment. Is your heart set on the D90 you have? If not I have a 97 SW if you'd be interested in a trade.

Gentlemen-
Thanks for the kind words, to answer all the questions.

Travis- I would be happy to entertain an offer, or maybe PM me and we can chat about whats fair-

1of90- I don't have my heart set on one particular 90, but I am not sure if I want to get into trading or not- However, either way I will have some more pics for you shortly

Mearleandsarah- The shop that did the refurbishing is called landroversuk.co - they are based out of Somerset (near Bath) you can look them up online. The guy that runs the place is named Andy- absolute great guy to deal with. If you do end up doing something like this and have any questions on the process, or I can even give you a couple things to make sure of asking, by all means feel free to PM me as well.

Thanks for the interest-
Brenter

Now, now, don't take out your hockey issues on us. What would be the price if Canada had won?

Benter, you may have missed my earlier question. Are you able to offer this truck pre-registered in the states? Or, are you just stating that registering it in the sates shouldn't be too difficult in your opinion?

1of40- sorry i did miss your question, and I can't do it because I am Canadian working in Canada right now- However, my job has me moving back and forth quite a bit, and next year (meaning this summer) I may return to the US for work, at that time I would register it there- But you are more than welcome to do it yourself now.

Mearleandsarah!
Do you think my price is out of line? or are you just making a joke about the first time the USA has beat Canada in Olympic hockey in 50 years? We let you win one every 50 years or so, just so you keep coming to the tournaments.....hahaha

Cheers guys

Tim

Thanks For the offer,
But I would consider a partial trade for a 94 or 95 only. I'd prefer stick I think...
Thanks

You may be able to register it for work but will not be able to legally import it on a permanent basis.

Can't be done as a 1987 as Matt states above this is not an eligible vehicle here. A 1985 is yes.

I would say drop it to $35k and remove the "firm" and you might get some people willing to bring it in grey market.

Aligator?

Haha I'm sorry am I missing something? Aligator?

As for the grey market- I guess I will leave it available to Canadians only for now then- because I'd rather keep it then let it go for 35K-
for now anyway

It was a lame attempt at a joke. There was a very nice D90 for sale with one major issue it had an alligator painted on the side. or in your case it cant be imported yet.
