This is a reluctant sale!!!! Unfortunately, I'm in need of a commuter car, as the drive to work is killing me. Many of you may recognize this vehicle, as it was Dave Lucas's. I bought it from him about 20K miles ago. It's currently located in Boulder, CO and I'm asking $9500. Please shoot me an email for pics and more detail. I'd like to sell this pretty quick.

Cheers,
Mike J.

Anyone have ANY interest????

Damn, dude....
It broke my heart to see you get rid of your D-90. Now your getting rid of a nice disco.

If I see your ass out on the highway in a Yugo, I'm going to run you over just to put you out of your misery.

Good luck with the sale.

Rod, no worries.... I'm actually doing something I should have done before buyin the disco. Get something that will give me ridiculous gas mileage, and also buy a Series. Series being the key word. Everyone was right about missing the D90! But it was the best financial decision I made and that thing was a POS. So instead of seeing me in a yugo... look out for me in a Series!

KEEP IT!

The upgrades you have in it are worth 1/2 the price you are asking.

Come over and build a new rear bumper (I have new fab. toys)

Oh ya one more thing......KEEP IT!

So are you going to call it a POS after you sell it?

no way.... that disco was the best rover I've owned thus far!!! The defender before her was a POS. And most that know it, know it was a POS.

While I did regular maintenance on the disco, I kinda missed working on rovers.... She was nothing but a great truck! I'm sure Lucas would agree!!

Hey, luckily in the 16 months or so I have owned it I really have not had any problems, but then again I have only put about 1000 miles on it.

Sounds like you had a lot of problems with it during your ownership. Besides some leaky gaskets in the motor and the rear crossmember is pretty rusted out, but besides that why would you call it a POS? Just curious? I know that POS was not in your original for sale ad! :-)

Just busting your balls a little. Hope the disco isnt missing half the exhaust system. :-)

From the start she was rough... put a lot of hours and money into it, and she just kept asking for more!!! Granted I drove it a LOT more than 1000 miles in about a year.

POS... It's a personal opinion. Was having tooo many problems to justify keeping it. Most of the people in the club out here know I was having a lot of probs with it. BUT, maybe that 90 didn't like me owning it. No worries, I don't regret buying it or owning it.... was definitely a learning experience.

Well in addition to some commuter.... I'm taking ownership of a 67 Series IIA. So I'm not out of the rover game.... probably never will be. Just have too much fun whether they treat me good or bad. Gotta love 'em all.

Jeff, glad to hear she's treating you well!! Just keep up with her!

Cheers,
