Red 1997 D-90 soft top for sale

Red Paint is nearly perfect, no damage at all. It is literally slick as glass, no rust. The paint is so nice you dont even want to get fingerprints on it.

50k miles

Upgrades include safari guard bumper. Full safari guard protection underside.

ARB airlockers front and rear.

FOX adjustable racing shocks.

Appears to have a slight lift.

Rear bumper steps and light guards

New sony cd player with ipod jack

HiLift Jack mounts (on roll bar passenger side)

Also recently replaced the tires with 33 x 9.5 inch BF Goodrich MudTerrains (5 new tires, have 10 miles on them)

X9 Winch

Just had the underbody pressure washed and re-undercoated

Custom rock guards (they also act as air tanks for the ARB compressor)

I bought the truck and did a few fixer up nic nacs with no intention of selling it

This is probably one of the cleanest straightest d-90's in the US.

Interior looks showroom new

The only reason I am flipping it is because it is too nice to take off in the woods. I am going to sell it and
take a few grand and fix up my old Isuzu trooper for off roading.

Will email pics upon serious inquiries.

39k firm

thanks
mike

ok, have decided that my old isuzu needs too much work. I will do a trade and cash with someone for an older 110 or a d90 that is i good mechanical but not necessarily physical condition. Want something i can take off road and enjoy without worrying about mucking it up.

If anyone is interested let me know.

I would just keep it and enjoy it. Like yours, my ST is set up for the trail and has about 55K on it, I use it and am careful. You already know the truck and any idiosyncrasies it has.

guess you are right, its just hard to convince myself to take it off road after what I paid for it. I think my problem is at heart I am more of a collector. I have a 1969 f100 pro street that i bought about 3 years ago and have stored it since, have only driven it about 25 miles.

Im so afraid that I will take it off road, use it and scratch it all up and it wont be worth crap when I go to sell it later. I guess I could always use it and then have ECR refurbish it someday...

I really had my heart set on that 1983 110 that ECR has, but im having a hard time getting a response from them. Seemed like a really good truck for using off road regularly.

Thanks for the feedback. If you know anyone who may be interested, ill pay a 1000.00 commission to anyone that can find me a buyer. Otherwise, I may just go ahead and use it for what it was meant for.

USE IT AS IT AIN'T WORTH CRAP NOW . I feel your pain as I have a 97 I was considering selling . Had it sold for hi 30's 3 months ago , now with the market in it's current state I would struggle to get 30k so I am keeping it .

My 2c - The market will return, in so far as it will be possible to sell again at some point. Its hard to even sell a 15k defender right now. The market will always be there for the 99th percentile trucks that have under ten thousand miles and show no wear. A 50k mile truck is still pretty used, though its nicer than a 150k truck almost certainly. I bought a 50k mile 1984 M6 a few years back and then proceeded to enjoy the next 30k immensely, and its not worth much less. Its wasn't ultra low miles to start with, so I didn't worry about it, and I had a lot of fun.

If you paid more than 39k for your truck, I think the chances of you ever getting it back are slim to none.

Go take it in the woods. Buff out the scratches and take care of it like a fire truck, it will stay nice for a long time unless you're into gratuitous damage and "mudding."

I think the market is still falling as far as Defenders with miles. People right now are not paying last year's prices unless the Defenders have low miles are in pristine condition. I've seen the same Defenders on ebay for months now because the sellers are not budging on their reserves. Its hard though because like Real Estate you just don't want to accept that the prices have fallen. Good time to be a buyer of a 50-80k mile Defender if you catch someone who has to sell it fast.

?????
You can email me, PM me here or call the shop during business hours. Any of those ways will get near instant results. Worst case its 24 hours before an email reply.

I just moved the brown 110 yesterday. It had been sitting for a month or more. Got right in, fired right up and I drove it around. Its a great truck, but it is RHD and poop brown, otherwsie it would have sold a long time ago.

Mike, if your full name is Mike Henry I already replied to your emails a couple days ago. Check that they are not getting filtered out. If you didn't get them email me and I'll resend.
The last email from me put the ball back in your court.

I do not check PMs. Call or email if you need something.

ECR is not a parts source. We are not in the mail order business.

Agreed. Defender prices are down because the economy is very difficult right now. If you don't need the cash for grocery money to survive, then accept what is for now and have fun with it.
