For the record, analog and digital odometers can be adjusted. I'm not sure the point on the odometer.

Is it just me or has the web site gone to shit this weekend?

For the record the board went to crap way before the weekend.

Horsey made a claim that a truck went from 200k miles to 100k miles after ownership. If true either someone turned it into a time machine or swapped in/adjusted an odometer to read as such. Now, I can't confirm or deny this either way since I have no information related to this, but I do know that NAS 110s came with analog odometer.

So I am the Mark from CA that had a deal w this guy for 22. Still don't think it is a scam, but he knows what this thing is worth and knew he would start a bidding frenzy. I was 1st in line and i am passing on this truck at the price he is hoping for. If anyone wants details you can PM me. I have all of the pics and I will be happy to share his emails.

People in Texas are scary and can't be trusted. They are like Carnies, Circus folk. Nomads, you know. Smell like cabbage. Small hands.

It's odd that you "had a deal for 22" - yet it sounds like it wasn't a "deal". Did he agree to sell it to you for 22 and then change his mind?

It may not be the traditional Craigslist scam - but it's just as bad IMO. Now if he started the conversation off by saying "I was just trying to get people interested when I asked 22", that's a bit different...

We had a deal at 22 contingent on pics which he sent a few hours later. The minute I saw the pics, I said sold. The vultures were circling and got to him.

Austin Powers.

195k miles truck that needs at least $3k with some rust issues for over $40k? Am I missing something? Seems like a pretty weak deal.

I guess HONOR has no meaning...

$22,000 if its one buyer, but highest bidder, if more than one is interested. Never seen CL used as eBay.

Sorry to tie this thread with another, but a seller apologizing to a buyer that isn't happy with the truck, when the buyer offered to only request back less that what was originally given and still not make it right.

Again, where's the honor? Sorry for the venting; alas, I find if frustrating that people deal with others without honor.

Back on topic... Would you be willing to post some the picks on this thread? I (and possibly others) am interested in the condition.

Guy told me that if Mark didn't commit to buy for $22K by 10am this morning that it was mine at $22K. But then he said that he'd like to get 22-30K. Missed his call an hour ago. Didn't leave a message. Not that important for me to get wrapped up in. I was joking about being in SLC. If anyone runs across a grey market 110 or has one that they want to sell at a reasonable price keep me in mind. Back to daddy day-care. I'll leave the squabbling to you guys. Can't we all just get along?!?!?!

I wonder if the seller ever had any intention of a selling price anywhere near $22k? I thought earlier in the thread someone recalled an previous ad for $40k+.

I agree - clowns like this shouldn't be rewarded with a sale...

This was never really for sale at $22k. That was the starting price in the seller's auction. If he is able to execute on a bid above $40k, he has done a great job selling it albeit in a way that has left a bad taste in many people's mouths. Since he's not a member of this community, he probably doesn't give a damn. I don't take anything for granted when buying anything from someone simply because they are on this forum unless I know the seller personally.

Here is a teaser. The pics he sent me are huge files, and i am not about to waste my time re-sizing them all. I have already wasted enough time on this cluster F.
