This one has been up for a while. He wanted 40k for it at the beginning of the year.

I may run down this weekend to get eyes on. In NC for work for a few weeks, so it is something to do. If I do will post some pics.

He should have refinished or replaced the front grill and headlight surrounds when he repainted the truck as those do more to freshen up the look than most anything else.

I love the "has not been in a major accident" line... (but has been in accidents less than major)

If it was 40k nice, it would have sold on eBay.

Agree - could spend a hundred or two on front grill plastic, new taillight lenses, hit the bumper w/ some paint and would make a world of difference.

I love how he says garaged - sure maybe today it is but plastic doesn't fade like that unless it's been baking in the sun for several years.

ooo yeah just looked again, literally looks like a rat trap with that grille. I mean powdercoat and paint on those sun stained bits and new wheel arches would make that truck look new... and yeah change that exhaust pipe hanging out and how about some WD-40 on that engine or something

New grill and light surrounds aren't even necessary unless they are broken. Mine looked like that or worse when I picked up my 90. A few coats of Back to Black and some elbow grease and they look brand new.

Or even just a heat gun will blacken them up a bit as per a write-up by crown14 a few years ago when he took a heat gun to the backs of his mirrors.

Thanks fellas, also thanks to Clay and all that helped including Kraig and Matt. Story is kind of funny, was negotiating with the seller and working on a way to go down to NC and get it. Then realized my fiancee was in SC for her bachelorette party with like 10 girls. I mentioned that driving up the coast via route 17 is supposed to be a nice scenic drive back and she agreed. Then I mentioned "Oh, if you do that do you mind swinging by Wilimington and picking up a truck I just bought?" An thus I had 10 girls pick up my new truck and drive it back here!

Awesome story! The folks here are great. I bought my D90 from a forum member and had solid help and advice along the way.
