NAS 1995 Defender 90 for sale, Salvage title, Fully functional or Great Project donor

I have a fully functional D-90 with a salvage title from Ohio. She is a 1995 #1640. I have had a couple of Defenders so I couldn't resist this one when it was offered to me as I figured I'd either use it as is or make a 110. This Truck was a rollover so the roll cage was destroyed as was the windshield. The previous owner installed a Series truck (2 panel) windshield and patched the roll cage areas on the body. He used the truck he called "scavenger" as a hunting truck and utility truck in Ohio where I bought it from him. This truck has no top or back seats. It is a low mileage truck. Paint is amateurish in dark green. Defender left factory in Dark Green. Mechanicals all good. New injectors and fuel pump. Shifts smooth. Brakes well. NO RUST. NO RUST. NO RUST
I have a large collection of older british cars (jags, mgs, triumphs) so don't think I'll do this project anytime soon as other projects started. I could use some space! Therefore, offering here first as I have always gotten my best D-90 info and used/new parts from all you guys. Call Martin (516) 978-6161 cell. The car is located just East of Saratoga Springs, NY in a large car garage I own. I snapped a couple of dusty photos on my iphone the other day. I'll post some better ones and give mileage specifics ect. $17K negotiable. A great Budget NAS Defender 90!
I've located a later style windshield and some NAS roll bar parts should anybody want to do a restoration to NAS specs. I also have a nice usable factory NAS hard top available separately which I bought for $1850 from a D-90.com member. Top in great shape.

That truck definitely gets some points for originality as I've never seen a NAS look quite like this one! 1994 rear square lights, Series tub (?) and windshield, etc. Looks like a fun trail rig.

Price seems a bit steep for what you get, and it appears a bit bodged back together with spares from the garage it was sitting in, No rust is a plus, but the thing has no roof or cage or much of an interior. The salvage title too doesn't help. Doesn't seem like there is an advantage to this truck over an 80's import which you can get with a diesel and a roof for a couple grand less. Just my opinion.

I'll try to get some better picks up soon

price negotiable. All the perks of a V8 NAS model rather than an import and the fact that it is a legal US model is a big bonus! You could spend a lot of money on an import and have trouble registering it or selling it to someone else...That is why I thought this was a great donor vehicle or just a really fun truck to have the way she sits....Cheers!

Yeah I was up that way a few weeks ago for the Battenkill Race. Really nice looking. The side markers may just be replacing the original markers for something more beefy (series side markers) since it was used for hunting, etc. The rear wheel arch on a series I believe is in a different place then on a 90.

The front and rear lights appear to indicate this is a '94. Might want to double-check the VIN.
