Arrow Nas 110

Greetings to all,

I am selling for a cleint, his NAS 110.
It shows 29k for miles but its got a Odometer repalcement sticker at 100k.

It has sat for the past year due to a bad ECU. It wouldnt start.
It has a brand new battery, alternator, Distributor and ECU.

It has the typical rust and the headliner is sagging
The airconditioning blows but no cool air, might be leak somewhere.
He bought this with the intention to restore it to a ECR restoration.
It was sent to ECR last winter 06/07and was sent back, it wasnt the price, it was the timing.
He thought it was going to arrive there and it would have gotten worked on right away.

Selling price is 35900 FIRM

Looks better than the one I just bought for 30, so its not bottom of the barrel price, or bottom of the barrel quality.

She should sell pretty soon, but I need to know her number!

Very cool. Thats even better when the seller discloses all the info.
50. is small change for me to go routing around in old files to hand out information that nets me zero.
Its great that the info is out there for free.

There is documentation on the car prior to your ownership that adds up to 140K miles roughly.

Really now.. with most of our Defenders... do we REALLY need the check list? I was nodding for 90% of it while reading thinking of my own trucks.

I could have written "standard 15 year old land rover" and it would have covered it.

What does the carfax say re: accidents/condition of the title?

:-)

Cheers to Martin for making the evaluation available FOR FREE.

"Handing out" the information may have netted you a customer, Mike. Instead you just lost a potential one . . .

Yup, thats how I pay my mortgage and my employees, by working for you for free.
Get a grip folks. Let me come to your place of work and ask for something for nothing and see how long it takes before you tell me to go get lost.

With all the free information I post to this site and the ECR site you are barking up the wrong tree here pal.

Its not my place to spoil sales for others by posting evaluations. Therefore I figured it would weed out the dead-wood and only those serious if it was posted for a fee. The seller should post it like he did, it isn't my place and I'm not here to serve you for nothing.

So with all this talk about the 110 after the eval is published by Martin, is it worth $35,900 and will someone here vouch for Martin if I cut him check?

I cant understand Mike, Scott (owner of the 110) paid you 175 for the evaluation. I cant beleive you had the nerve to ask for another 50 dollars. I am glad that I kept the email with the evaluation.

I hope no one had to pay the 50 dollars,
here is Mike's response to a member for asking for the evaluation for free.

"50. because we spent time and money doing it.
This is a business."

No one paid. You did the right thing by posting the info.

So let me get this right...
I'm supposed to leave the shop. Drive to the other shop. Get the file. Re-type the evaluation into the computer (because its in hard copy only now) then post it to the site or to other potential buyers (your buyers not mine) for nothing while you make money on the sale by me doing work and I'm supposed to do all that for nothing.

Man you guys have a screwed up sense of reality.

Also, when we did the evaluation it was all "good info" and now when you are trying to sell the truck it is "nit picking". Funny how things change when your needs change Martin.

Somehow I think the dealership you work at would charge a whole lot more thank 175. for an evaluation on a private sale and then if another customer came in looking at the same truck the dealership would do another evaluation at full whack and not say "Oh yeah, we just did that evaluation for another customer... here it is."

I don't see that happening at your dealership at all... ever.

and I never post any good free information anywhere.... do I?

My blood is boiling here... the double standard where some dealerships and all will rip you off again and again with crazy labor rates, trying to sell a junk truck for big bucks and double talk and all and is all OK because they are a "dealerships" and "salesmen" and its expected, but I am supposed to bend over and suck dick for free all the time when I just asked for a small fee to cover the wasted time (yes WASTED TIME!!)... I've had it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!

Apply the double standard to someone else.
