Those pictures have motivated me to wash my 110. Rust aside, his truck is so much cleaner than mine. I've got dirt, diesel and stupid pine needles from that damn tree over my driveway everywhere.

Yes!
And it crossed all models from about 1983 through 2004!

Nas d110 #469 sold

Truck sold on eBay and the transaction is finalized. The truck is going to a good home in Boulder, CO. My understanding is its first stop is to have the bulkhead and other rust issues resolve.

I bought a new car. A '67 Austin Healey 3000 BJ8. It's my daily driver, so I sure hope Spring hurries the hell up.

I can't imagine I'll stay away from Rovers forever. If someone has a decent NAS D90 wagon, miles irrelevant for under $40k, let me know. That'll be the next purchase.

Holy crap...you bought a Healy 3000, and using it as a DD? In Ohio? In the winter? I love those cars, but aren't they high pricetag?

Not too hateful. Mine has been gone over mechanically (brakes, cooling, fuel, ignition, etc.). No rust, old repaint, seats redone 5 years ago. Paid $30k. I thought it was an awful lot of classic car for the money. Try to buy a MB 280SL or Porsche 911 from same time period in comparable condition. You'll spend twice as much. Plus, I think the AH looks better.

Early 60's MB are tough to beat! Late 60 models are easy bought between 20-40k

Not hateful...jealous! That's a heck of a good price, and will certainly go up as you put work into it. Very cool though, post pics!

I agree. I owned a '70 280SL and it was a great driver. Sold it a few years ago for $24k. I'd buy them all day long at that price today, if I could. Passed on a '70 280SL recently, in similar condition to the Healey for $35k. I really should have bought it. However, when I look for them now, in similar condition, they are all over $40k. You can get them for less but they've usually been buggered up over the years by shops who don't know what they're doing. The Healey just made sense because a great shop had completely gone through it. Plus, I've never had one and always wanted one. I'll post a pic shortly.

You might have to do some searching but there's a great youtube video of one of those being crash tested. Makes the Healey look really safe.
