Looking to sell a pair of Rovers - NAS 110 and '66 Series IIA

I have NAS 110 #466. The best unrestored example I could find. R380 transmission. Not many extras, Tuffy, stainless oil cooler lines, kenwood CD, skidplate and diamond plate wings with shovel (used silicone adhesive for diamond plate, not drilling). Less than 80k verified miles. Great truck. Also adding to the package a 1966 Series IIA "Orvis-Style". Inspections welcome. There are other guys on the D-90 list who live here in Central Oregon who I'm sure would love to come out and take a look for you if you are serious. Price is $75k for the pair.

Hi Fred,

I still have #24 that I bought from you ~1.5yrs ago. Put a lot of $ and effort into it since. The bodywork and rolled on paint is still crap but someday I will get to that once the other mechanical needs are fully sorted out.

I drive it everyday it starts, which of course is not actually every day. However, it's been on a backcountry trip to Steens Mtn, Spokane, Seattle, Oregon Coast, Mt Rainier, loaded up with camping gear and the whole family and countless weekend soccer games, cross country and track meets. It's the perfect truck.

Eric

Really looking to sell the pair together as it's just easier. I've had strong interest off of my Ebay ad already for both vehicles individually. Thanks to everyone for all of the positive comments about the Orvis-style 109! That $150k ECR NAS 110 at Copley is pretty jaw-dropping as well! Oh, I also have the alloy jungle top for the 109 painted beige to match the wheels and roof.

Yeah maybe I am missing something here, but the two could talk (gasp), agree on a breakdown in the price for the two, and buy both from you. You'd sell both (still easy for you) and each would each get what they want (Michael the series and Eric the 110).

A long shot, but I get the feeling no-one understands what I was saying.

As usual... I also get the same feeling some times...

Seriously.... I also believe is easier to sell them separate and you have people interested. Give it a shot.

What exactly makes a truck "Orvis" style? Is it the color combo?

There is a similar 109 for sale at www.orvis.com/landrover
The 109 I'm selling (paired with the NAS 110) was inspired by the Lanny Clark Orvis truck. It's pretty amazing to think that an Orvis 109 and an ECR 110 could cost more than $250,000 as a pair.

I didn't get what he was saying at first. Partly because I didn't see that Michael was interested in the Series until later. Not a bad idea really but most of us know what the 110 is worth, what is the series worth?
