Looking for INFO

Hi guys,
I am new to the boards and currently on the hunt for a D-90.
I was wondering if anyone in the Denver area has looked at the truck that Denver East has?
I have been in contact with a salesman there, but I was looking for opinions from someone who has seen it and isn't trying to sell me something.

Hello-HK
Since you are in Portland you should go the the ABFM, Labor Day weekend at PIR. Land Rover is the marque this year and there is always a bunch of Defenders. Most likely there will be a Defender or two for sale on Sunday at the swap meet. It's a great place to go and look, make friends and take a test drive. There is also a great land Rover club in Portland, the PCRC, Pacific Coast Rover Club. www.pcrc.net
Feel free to drop me a line for more info.

What's the story on the truck? I was in there a few weeks ago and they had a gorgeous truck on consignment- IIRC it was a 1995 green SW. Fantastic truck with low miles and looked like it was brand new. They are a great dealership to work with service wise, I've used them for years.

I'm familiar with the vehicle, it belongs to a good friend and if it's not perfect, it's damn close. The only one I know of in better condition is his other D90 - a '94 ST. I'm not sure what they're asking, but you won't find a nicer original '95 Station Wagon.

I appreciate the reply, Art. The truck looks lovely from the pictures I have seen, but things can be hidden, so I wanted outside opinion, sounds like this thing is legit...

I have been talking to the salesman there and he has been super cool with my random questions and very helpful, I can only hope I have a dealership like that here in my area.

You're welcome. Feel free to contact me directly if I can help in any way. I'm very serious about it being the best '95SW on the market.

I tried to stop in and take a look at it today, but it's been sold. Salesman said it sold for $53,500.
