Regrettably, long story.

Got to get things moving and make progress

Runs drives and stops. Have ownership.

Fitted new canvas.

reluctant sale but here goes.

Advertised elsewhere, may take an offer or any offer, who knows. Asking $14,500 Canadian but discuss. Start a dialogue and see where it goes.

yes Canadian dollars, don't know exact height but taller than a 90 or 110 from memory. Stats must be on the web somewhere

Yes, I know Robin.
Long time Rover enthusiast and Ottawa Valley Land Rover club member. When I used to attend their birthday party get-together he would organize the RTV trial.

Pretty easy...

Just do a little research, make sure you have all your paperwork, and give yourself one day longer than you originally planned.

Customs agents are generally pretty friendly to new guys.

Dear all,

I am flattered by the interest in the vehicle.

I am old old school, I do not mis-represent what is being sold. I do check email but am not quite as E connected as some of you.

I have spent quite a bit of time and effort and money saving this truck from dying. It has been kept as near as stock as I can and I have researched the history of the truck and even have the replica military plates for it. It has done virtually zero miles this past year but has been dry stored.

I have spoke to a few of you and things are up in the air, I have to go back to the gent I am trying buy a truck from as he wanted this as a trade, so I would be silly to trade this against his truck on an even stevens deal only to find that I could have bought his truck for a buck fifty and sold this one for a tenner.

I have a spare wheel and tyre not colour matched and I have an operators and parts manual that all go with it.

As far as export to the US of A it has a legal registration / title in my name up here.

I am quite shocked at the amount of interest and truly flattered.

Robin

Dear All,

I am finally down to earth.

I was overwhelmed by the number of genuine enquiries on my truck.

I am somewhat hesitant to say that it is sold to a very nice gentleman who will or wont reveal who he is in good time, it is not for me to say who but he has an email in his inbox!

To those who didnt get a PM replied to, sorry but when someone makes genuine contact by email and backs it up with a genuine phone call and makes a commitment that is good enough for me and I stop responding to others.

Hope you all understand.

Finally the whole deal was somewhat bitter sweet as I received my copy of James Taylor's book on the 1 tonne last night for Christmas and I have credits in the book. In one hand out the other!

Oh well.

Thanks to all and congratulations to the buyer
