I am somewhat hesitant to say that it is sold to a very nice gentleman who will or wont reveal who he is in good time, it is not for me to say who but he has an email in his inbox!

To those who didnt get a PM replied to, sorry but when someone makes genuine contact by email and backs it up with a genuine phone call and makes a commitment that is good enough for me and I stop responding to others.

Hope you all understand.

Finally the whole deal was somewhat bitter sweet as I received my copy of James Taylor's book on the 1 tonne last night for Christmas and I have credits in the book. In one hand out the other!

Oh well.

Thanks to all and congratulations to the buyer

Beautiful Truck, Hopefully the deal goes without issues. Hopefully the replacement vehicle will be a better fit!

It's usually not like Bring a Trailer to advertise sold cars... did this actually go?

I never put it on Bring a Trailer and really wish it never had migrated there, not my idea of free advertising, what a load of codswhallop they talk.

Vehicle is very much sold to a very nice man I have not met yet.

Robin I see the 2 prototype 101's are for sale up in your neck of the woods. How bad are they ? pictures I have seen seem to indicate both would require a massive amount of work.

Howdy, sorry for the tardy reply.

I was the one who did the article on them for LRO many years ago.

The owner wants to move them along as a pair and for money, not chump change.

They are very rough from when I saw them so what shape they are now goodness only knows.

I am happy to help (expenses covered) to go look at them and to assist in any way possible if anyone wants to buy them.

He will not separate them as of last contact I had with his best mate who was assisting.

Incidentally, I personally hold all the test data a black and white photos of the vehicles during testing with the Canadian Forces, I am the sole person to have these, you might have noticed in James Taylor's latest book on the 1 Tonne that I get photo credits.

Email me directly for fastest response and my phone number.

Regards

Robin
