Question Goldilocks- what's wrong with this one?

For sale at Land Rover in Highlands Ranch (I have no affiliation). I stopped and looked at it today. 94 ST with 90K+ miles, hardtop, no back seat, no side mirror and some rust underneath. Isn't that what you want (a bit of a project)? They're asking $29.9K but have had it well over a month and it's cold out. I bet they'll deal.

Local
in your price range
94
ST w/ removable hard top
White
has some rust

Been talking to them, they didn't tell you the new price is now 25,500? Have some additional pics if anyone wants to see them. Dealer said it had 3 tops, HT, new ST, and bikini. I am not interested.

I just saw the price on the window sticker- didn't talk to anyone about it other than asking the parts guy how long they've had it. I only stopped to look at it and take a picture for you since I know you are looking and it's local.

At $25 you're not interested? Is it a basket case?

It's white. Defenders were meant for exotic colors like Black , AA Yellow, Monza Red, Arles Blue,...

On the contrary my friend....white is the NATO/UN/3rd World color that Defenders live for! Though I will say an Arles NAS 90 is the cats pajamas. But for some reason Arles doesn't look as good on non-NAS trucks.

I saw that one too. The tin worm has been at work more than a little. I'd be crawling all around under that thing with a hammer and tell them that you want to see it up on a lift before I got too excited about it.

It's a pretty nice truck. I appraised it for Gino when it was traded In and he wanted to try it for a month to retail. I know they've spent about 3 grand in there shop on misc things it needed. He probably has about 24 in it now.

This dealer is eager to sell this truck, they called me again this morning... told them I had already purchased another... anyone interested could make an offer and see if they bite, but if they have 24k in it now, that may be too bad for them.
