FS LHD Ser IIA 300 tdi conversion

Hi Everyone,

After a lot of going back and forth, I have decided to sell my rover. I'm building another defender and I just don't have the room and time for two. Many of you have seen her over the years from Maine, to MAR, to Moab. She is not a car show powder puff or trailer queen but super solid mechanically and the best daily driver I have ever owned. I would not pause to go anywhere with her.

I would prefer to sell her as she sits but would also consider option 2.

Asking $27,500.00 as is They get everything listed and I will charge the new AC system.

Option 2: $22,500. I will remove the 3 link and all aftermarket suspension components as well as the ARB air lockers. I will replace with new bushing kit, stock rover trailing arms and radius arms, new 2" spring , new shocks and 24 spline diff's.

Happy to provide more info and pictures. Please email me directly roverxtdi@gmail.com or call 615 681 8441.

Scott: I can't believe you really really really are going to sell this. I nearly bought it from you years ago right after you finished it. I was not only Roverfilled back then but saving for a house!
For those who don't know this truck it's an A1 build. Scott built it right. 100%.

I've also seen and talked to Scott for hours about this truck. What happened to the "built not bought sticker"

Hey Chris,

You can buy it now hahaha As much as I love this truck, you know you can only have so many rover in the driveway and still be married I remember the days for the Bay State Home Wreckers Land Rover Club. I swear someone one was getting divorced everyother week because of Land Rovers hahahaha How is the project coming?

Hey Doug,

Sticker is still on the back, just very small. Hey, I have built 3 rovers from the ground up and restored a whole bunch. I'm in the process of building another one. As sad as it will make me this one needs to go to a good home.

My wife brought that to my attention not too long ago. She basically said, that I have too many Defenders for her to not have a new car. I had no response. I tried to explain how they were "investments", but she ignored my logic. She said that it was time to sell an "investment". I'm standing my ground for now

Anyway, Great looking truck!!!!! GLWTS!

I have tried to talk Scott out of selling this truck. But alas, he has a new project on the burner. This is one of the best sorted 300 I have ever seen. I have followed Scott to events in my LR3 and in the past in Range Rover Classics and he easily cruises at 70-80 mph in this truck without strain. He is a stickler for regular maintenance and upkeep. The person who buys this isn't just buying a truck, but buying a legacy.

Scott seems to always have projects

I have seen this truck in person and looked it over...he represents it quite well. But I must say understated the build quality!! It is simply well thought out and extremely well built and put together.

Well worth the price!!!!

GLWS Scott.

Great looking rig Scott, my build is not that far off from yours. Got one Q. I see a water shut off valve in the middle of the B/H. I assume is is to shut off water going to the heater, if so did you run a by-pass hose?
