After a lot of going back and forth, I have decided to sell my rover. I'm building another defender and I just don't have the room and time for two. Many of you have seen her over the years from Maine, to MAR, to Moab. She is not a car show powder puff or trailer queen but super solid mechanically and the best daily driver I have ever owned. I would not pause to go anywhere with her.
I would prefer to sell her as she sits but would also consider option 2.
Asking $27,500.00 as is They get everything listed and I will charge the new AC system.
Option 2: $22,500. I will remove the 3 link and all aftermarket suspension components as well as the ARB air lockers. I will replace with new bushing kit, stock rover trailing arms and radius arms, new 2" spring , new shocks and 24 spline diff's.

1969 Ser IIA Land Rover conversion to 300 Tdi LHD
This rover was built in MA in 2003 using a 1969 Ser IIA land rover that I owned and was using as a daily driving. Truck was built on a factory ROW 300 tdi chassis. Rear NAS fuel tanks mounts were added and the chassis was Hot Dipped Galvanized. Bulkhead is the original 1969 IIA bulkhead. It is registered and titled as a 1969 Ser IIA Land Rover. It had been my daily driver for that entire time. It has been titled in MA, CT and TN during this time.
Body: Seatbox and rear tub are from a 1995 NAS defender. Doors and front fenders are from a 1996 ROW defender. Roof and sides panels are front 1995 ROW truck. Sliding windows were added in 2010.
Engine: Original purchased through Equcar in 2002. It is from a 1996 Defender 90 with and 37K original miles on it. Updated timing belt kit was installed 2002. Truck has covered just over 125 k miles to date. Last timing belt replacement was 10k miles ago
This is a complete Land Rover 300 tdi Defender drivetrain. R380 5 speed gearbox and 1.4 transfer case. Radiator/intercooler,alternator,down pipe, engine mounts and transmission crossmember from donor truck.
Recent Service work included: New timing belt 10K miles ago, New HD Britpart Clutch kit. Rear main seal, Front and Rear Crank seal. New glow plugs, New Bosch injection pump 5K miles ago, All hubs rebuild 8 months ago. gearbox mounts replaced with clutch. Brakes pads replaced 10 months ago. All hoses have been replaced with the last 18 months including silicone intercooler hoses. Drop arm on PS box replaced 6 months ago. Seats rebuilt with new foam 2011.
Suspension: 3’’ Rovertym HD springs . Rovertym rear adjustable trailing arms. Rovertym HD panhard rod. Bilstein 7100 remote reservoir Shocks w/ 360/80 valving rear 400/100 valving front. Safari Gard 3 link front suspension w/ crossmember. Rovertym adjustable front shock towers.
ARB 24 spline Front and Rear Air lockers. Rebuilt 10 months ago.
