FS: 97 Disco

I am unloading my daughter's Disco.. 247k miles, runs great, drives nicely. Typical Disco rot, needs frame patched, rear brakes. Great winter beater/trail rig, or take the parts and scrap. I would rather give someone a chance with it than sell it for scrap. OME 2.5 lift, ARB front bumper (needs some repair on the brush guards) JDM rear bumper. $500 takes it. I'm close to rte 495 an rte 2, western suburbs of Boston.. going to the scrap yard soon.

4.0L auto box.. with CDL.

Thanks Bill.. she's at college for her freshman year. So she has a choice when she's home now.

98 RR P38 (which might be up for sale soon)
92 Mercedes 190E 2.6 which she prefers, it's a great car.
or the 03' Disco

I bought my wife a minivan for the kids so I am thinning the herd a bit, my 88" is on the IR list right now.

Would it make the drive from Boston to VT? I'm going to be in the area for Thanksgiving and I'd take it.

A quick pad slap in the rear and I'd drive it anywhere, really. My daughter drove it for a year before the pads went out, I always trusted the way it ran, never let us down. Personally I'd baby it as is to VT, but I can't recommend anything other than towing for obvious reasons.

I'll go test drive it later, it's been parked since July and I haven't any idea what the brakes are like I took her word for it, she's pretty sharp for an 18 year old.

Cool. Just a bit too late, but keep me in mind. I have to burn up this big teacher's salary somehow.
