FS- '95 D90 SW Arles Blue *sigh*

Can't believe I'm doing this..

For Sale-
-1995 Land Rover Defender 90 Station Wagon Arles Blue

-3.9 V-8, 5 speed

- 96K-ish miles (bought at 83K from a D-90.com member in '05)

-Intermittent panty-attracting windshield

-Electrical cooling fan by previous owner

-Small oil leak- *GASP* Useful for confirmation that at least SOME fluids are in there!

-Major tune by Auto Technica in Nederland, Colorado including new radiator hoses, 1 of 2 power steering lines, all fluids, etc.

-Spot of rust at rear passenger corner tub trim and at OEM side steps (mostly passenger) Had my name in for Scorpion Racing tree sliders. Driver's side door ding (wasn't me!)

- 5-bar wing and corner protection with rivets

-Stock front brush guard, lamp guards

-Detachable face MP3 capable, satellite ready stereo (Alpine?)

-New muffler in last year

-Limb risers

-Yakima Roof rack with 4 gutter feet with risers, 4 roll cage mounts (XTerra mounts), 4 Yakima crossbars (Thule Rocketbox and extended Yakima basket negotiable)

-VDO tach (pretty sure)

-No crawling!!- Camping/mountain biking support vehicle that has seen mostly highway miles. Average 16 mpg!!!!! No, seriously!!

-INCLUDED BUT NOT INSTALLED-
-AC system (from D-90 member)
-OME steering stabilizer- ebay- used?
-NEW OME Front & Rear Springs- Medium
-OME Shocks Less that 5K miles from Auto Technica- take off apparently (too stiff! What??)
-NEW Rover Accossories Oil Cooler Lines

I have been bitten with the Rover bug for a couple years now. 2 previous Discos, a '73 Series III, and my Defender have taught me a lot. It's time to move to a vehicle (for now) that better suites my family's needs and we're getting a Sportsmobile. Yes, a Ford. (They don't seem to have a emoticon that hangs it head in shame.)

$26,000

Do it. Do it. You know you want to. Everybody else is...

That first picture sure looks like a 97 for sale on Autotrader (see attached image.)

Hmm. Difference in PICs. Diamond plate, tires and Roof Rack. Is this the one on Craig's List? Nice truck. Just curious. Really nice. No harm meant.

The pics without the diamond plate and rack are from when I purchased in '05. The snow pic was just a couple weeks ago so I didn't have any updated pics but I'll snap some new glamour shots this week and post.

Ohh, it's an awning. I was hoping it was a bazooka.

It's definitely a nice looking truck, good luck with the sale.

Bazooka

If I swapped the awning out for a bazooka do you think it would be more trailworthy? I could paint "Jeep Disassemby Device" on it.

Love the rack. Definitely interested...

I'd like to look into having a local inspector come out to take a peek. Would that be okay?

No problem

I've got a Rover shop within 10 miles of my house (Auto Technica in Nederland, CO), 3 Rover dealerships (not the most knowledgable guys when it comes to Series and Defenders but great with Rover badged baby movers), and John's 4x4 in south Denver which is highly regarded. Plus, you got plenty of D-90 members around town who I'm sure would give it a look over as well.

Bump

Do you think this thing would sell faster if I pulled the rack off and the accessories and sold it completely stock (other than the 5 bar)?

$24,000 in its current form
