Starting a fresh post, the old one got sidetracked a few too many times. Ready to sell, looking for $20,000.
(Truck is also listed on local craigslist at $22k)

Officially has about 135k miles.

Already has a lot of work/upgrades done on it.
oil cooler lines with thermostat plate.
full set of Autometer Cobalt gauges.
Mallory unilite distributor, coil, wires.
New MAF sensor.
steering guard
stainless tank skidplate
steel wheels
flexalite fans.
composite head gaskets (did these with the timing chain, new factory cam and lifters at around 95k)
Also have, but not installed, a full Rovers North roof rack.

Does have some rust on one of the cappings.

I'll add anything else I can think of in additional posts.

I'm kinda at crunch time here guys, new vehicle is arriving in about 3 weeks or so, so the D90 has got to go soon. It's ready to sell, clean title and current inspection.

Will be hitting e-bay for another attempt on Sunday.

I'm interested, what do you think the transportation cost would be to North Carolina coast?

NC is a huge state. Best to call around on your own and get your best quote. You could also see who ECR uses and perhaps catch one of their trucks heading on South from Maine.

I've checked with all these guys in the past 2009/10), and Mercury was the most reasonable and the most pleasurable to work with. A fairly reasonable quote was 50 cents for every mile as a rough guesstimate.

Good advise from Horsey in the above post. Just for reference I just shipped my 90 from Cary, NC (Raleigh) to Tampa for just under 500.

I should also add that I used the site uship.com

A bit more of a gamble, but there is also U-ship as a sort of clearing house for shipping companies. Post what you want to ship, and they will post up their bids regarding cost/time/service. Then pick the one you like best.

I have a great shipper if you need one. I have shipped two trucks with, Alberto, shipped one and I currently have a car in transport with. I don't bother with anybody else anymore. They all lie and it just works out to make one call. If you want the info shoot me a pm

Getting a good bit of interest now on it.... the $2k price reduction seems to have helped a lot it seems.

I really need to get this sold, so it's try #2 on e-bay right now.

Starting bid $100, reserve is set at $18,000. Great opportunity to bid on a truck with no pressure to actualy buy it!

Hans, could I offer some advice? Instead of dropping the price spend some time or money and get the truck detailed, then take some better pictures which do the truck justice. Don't leave personal items in the photos and don't leave wires dangling in the shot. Remember that photos can be everything on Ebay or any online sales. Also, you might be a little too technical in your EBay description for someone with no D90 experience.
Just my 2 cents from past sales and I really think if you do the above you can get a lot more than 18k and a quicker sale.

Yeah, I know I should have probably done better photos. But I'm just so worn out right now with the truck, getting all the mechanical side ready for the sale then having the radio stolen and having to do new door panels and the console.

If it doesn't go this time around, I'll definitely get some new photos done.
