I'm shocked it doesn't have a faux td5 dash.

Was this thing painted in a nail salon? I swear my mother wears the same color. She applies a few extra coats of clear to keep her skid plate from chipping.

And for the money, I would want genuine land rover letters on the hood instead of the pep boy special that is on there now. Reminds me of the science fair when I was a kid. I had to buy so many packs of stick on letters to spell out "Potato Battery Experiment." I assume to spell Himalaya, V8, and Land Rover, he had to buy at least three sets. Thats a lot of 'a's.

The folks that is marketed to don't know about those things or what to look for in quality. They just know they want a Defender and see the website and think, "This sounds and looks fancy. I want that. Ohh a professional website, too."

Remember when somebody bitched about somebody buying a beat project 109 because it was a lost opportunity to put high quality labor into the rebuild...

Fine the soft top might not matter but am I crazy, the seats don't match.

Also do you get a spare for the money? Can't imagine that door will be happy carrying that ghetto sled wheel.

Holyshit Jeff,

You found it. Good work. I think there was a reward.

Also what is up with the rear extra convoluted exhaust mount? I realize that was the last restoration.

Also again I'm not good at matching colors but is the engine bay still portofino?
