So after much contemplation I have decided to put this truck up for sale.
So this particular 110 was imported late summer last year.
So lets start off with the bad.
The engine is currently no running. Its a 2.5td 19J.
It has low compression ratings and needs an IP pump.
The two front doors will probably need to be replaced at some point, due to corrosion.
Need rear sway bar bushings. Will need repair on front bumper or new front bumper due to rust hole. Has no headliner, ripped out old because it was grotty and falling down.
The Good: Its here in the states and went through the whole import process.
fuel sender unit.
fuel lines throughout
Davis's fuel Sedimenter
Electric fuel pump
Rear Door Card
MOD Wolf headlight protectors
Rear taillight protection and ladder
Metal instrument cluster Binnacle
Modern Fuel filter assembly
New ignition switch
Rear LED worklight
Replaced reflectors and most of light lenses.
redone the grounding points
Heater Snow Cover LH (ABS Plastic)
Cool fuel cap cover
Any reusable parts I will include with the truck that I have replaced.
Also included are 5 KM1 255/85/r16 tires, pretty much brand new but has some age to them.
Other good news:
Frame is solid, no rust issues. Rear crossmember is solid. All original seats in good condition.
Center console with cupholder. Interior has no corrosion, except for a few repairable spots on bulk head the floor is completely fine.Tranny and clutch was working great when it was running. I have all the customs paperwork, easy to get it titled and registered. I will probably get a VA title for it this week.
SO in general this truck is a solid vehicle that will be a fabulous candidate for a 200TDI drop in or other engine conversion.
The question to be asked is "Why am I selling this?". Well I am selling this because I honestly don't have time to deal with this truck and give it the love and affection it deserves. I have been out of country 20 months of the last 2 years. I got this truck thinking I may settle down some out west, but life has given me some opportunities and I will probably be spending the next year in Australia or a year or more over in Africa and/or middle east.
So instead of letting this truck sit idle in a barn collecting dust or barely being driven by my parents or friends. I would rather sell it.
If you put any engine in this you will make money off of it.
Rick Newman has been all over this truck and will vet for it's condition. I think probably several other forum member have seen it as well. The truck is currently in richmond sitting at a shop and Im located just north of Charlottesville, Va.
