FS: 1974 Land Rover 101 Forward Control

A Land Rover friend of mine is thinking about selling off some series vehicles, as well as his 101.
He isn't much into using a computer, and asked if I would list it in a few places.

I have the basics on it, as supplied by the owner.

1974 Land Rover Forward Control

Toyota 3B Diesel w/approx. 75,000kms
AXT Turbocharger
5 spd Toyota gearbox
ARB Front and rear locking differentials
Custom front free-wheeling hubs
5 Michelin military tires
Electric winch
Brand new canvas top just installed

He is looking for about $25,000, but I know there is bargaining room so offer on that amount.

If I only had an extra 25k laying around, and a place to put it, and time to work on/drive it, and, oh well, I gotta pass.

If I only had the space for this thing, my commute in Long Island traffic would be much more enjoyable tailgating people in one of these.

I am not positive but I recall about half of the mileage of the engine (45k miles approx.) Sorry, the truck has about 45k miles and I believe half of that is while in the FC.
I will try confirm the real value for you.

Where is it located?
The 101 FC is located in British Columbia, 40 miles east of Vancouver.

300tdi can be done. Not a super popular conversion on the 101. Most common conversion is to the 3.9 or the 4's engines.

Is this FC still for sale? I live in Abbotsford now and would like to see it if it's still around.
