I have a private tabled offer at $15k 'tabled on my end'. Just three months back, I had a $20k local cash offer that I Turned down. Back east before I drove it west, I had a $23k cash offer from a surgeon. He and his wife got cold feet morning of our scheduled transaction. I am currently looking at the local tourist market. It's not my "Mood". Although I do admit I am attached to it. If someone would make me a inbox offer of of high to mid teens we can talk again. This is an iconic machine that I'm damn proud to own it. All it needs is some cosmetic maintenance and she be pretty... BA!! I left the corporate world working over 2 half years ago and I'm mostly independent project manager working for non- profits. It's sits daily now, I just fire it up every other mild day when I'm not skiing or working. I'll unload it when it's time and the cash is right.

You turned down a $20k cash offer and are looking for an offer in the mid to high teens?? What!? This is weird. Plus by saying you're looking for an offer in the mid to high teens it means you will take mid teens so why would anyone offer more?

Am I missing something here? It was for sale for $13,500 in Feb 2013 but now you have it sold for $20K (an almost 50% increase in value) and you are seeking news on the new buyer!? Help me out here.

Well it's a long story. But I am regretting every penny of the sale... For days after I felt like I sold my right N$t.. When it was listed low I was either broke and I was getting frustrated with it. Anyhow I knew it was worth more ... Held out and got the 20k I wanted. The dude thrashed it for a year and sold it for 15k. The new owner plans to swap it to a left hand and automatic. So I was just curious if the project is on here. My new project woods/camping truck is a $500 Disco I. Cheers

I know that feel, only difference was I managed to keep mine.

It's a heartache either way, though I don't have to tell another land rover guy that

Jason, thanks for the update and good luck with the new project. The Disco is really an amazing truck even in stock form, I think you will be happy with it on the trail.
