When you say "full safari cage", I assume you mean the original NAS rollcage that was taken off to fit the hardtop?

I recall you mentioned that you still had it in the other thread where your truck was sighted, so I'm thinking this is what you meant (and wanted to clarify for any potential purchaser, since that will greatly add value to your sale).

Thanks for the clarification... yes, it's the original safari cage that came with the NAS, full meaning it still has all it's parts including the alpine support bar mid cage top.

If you have any photos of that cage, to exhibit condition/etc, I'd say post them up as it will assist your sale. I can't say with absolute certainty obviously, but I think it'd be a safe bet that any potential purchaser would be interested in putting that cage back on (but at a minimum would want to know/see the condition first hand before purchase).

That said, nice truck and with all the "extras" I think you'll definitely get some interest quickly.

Yeah, that's a good idea... I might just take you up on that... ! :D

I sort of figured that I'd swap out the hard top for the cage once I got back here to SoCal, but never did cause I just plain stopped driving it (hence the reason for selling it). I actually have a set of windows for the hardtop as well, so the new owner has another option, putting the windows in place. I never did because it has such a unique look and never really needed the windows especially since I didn't put any seats in the back.

Wow, and I was even going to volunteer to put eyes on it for anyone interested... El Cajon is very local to me.

It won't be a local dealer, they both could care less about defenders. They'll make more on a new Mall Rover with blinged out hood insignia and a strut grill.

Wow that was quick. I saw it at work and it was a nice ride. Guess when I find my 110 I know my 90 should go quick. Congrats to seller and owner.

Nope, no dealer... an individual got it... he's real excited about the buy! Was an out of state purchaser.

If the new owner wants to sell the hard top, I am a buyer.

He might, I'll pass it along... I'm sure if he's interested he'll get in touch.

I really liked that hard top. When I took the safari cage off and put the top I fabbed up a roll bar that integrates into the existing structure... so you have roll protection underneath the skin. You may want to ask him about the rack as well... it only goes/fits with the top.
