For Sale: 94 D-90 w/ 300TDi

This D-90 has 130k miles on it. The engine has approximately 60k on it. The engine swap was done by Rover Tracks. Maybe they can add some insight as the vehicle was used for the One World Expedition. Unfortunately the decal kit was removed by the previous owner. There was a shadow from the decals on the hood and it was peeling so I had it repainted. The fabric cargo net is still in the roof from the expedition -- would love to know what they put up there!

I have about 15 pictures online. I will add some of the chassis. The chassis is in good condition, normal surface scale -- no holes. The transmission shifts smoothly. I don't know if the timing belt was changed or not...best to assume it needs that after 60k.

The link to my pics: http://s277.photobucket.com/albums/kk71/marco_atl/

Please chime in if you know the history of the vehicle as I'm sure many of you already know this one. Vehicle is located in Atlanta, Georgia.

The asking price is $35,000. Here are the detailed specs:

I only have a 3 car Garage... One Defender in each garage? When I get a 110, I guess I will have to move.

It is Damn nice.

I actually thought it was Jack's at first glance. Trying to sell it under another name or something. His is a ROW D90.

Why are you selling it? A truck with that type of pedigree and 300 TDI, you should have been out on the trails with us...

I just bought a house...too good a deal to pass up given the market and all...so I now I need the cash to fix it up...it always comes down to needing cash doesn't it! It does have a pedigree and the diesel is awesome...hopefully it will go to a good home.

That is one great looking truck. Btw, if any of you guys buys a 200 or a 300tdi engine in the UK we can help you ship it to the US as we just did one for Dougs brother.

Is this truck still available? Trade for a Dodge cummins with a snowplow? Seriously though I am surprised this has not sold.

Question ebay

Hey guys...I am having a friend list the Defender on ebay -- I hate to use e-bay too much trouble.

Any other advice? I am surprised that a diesel d-90 wasn't snapped given what people are paying for bad-title gray market 110's. This is a true NAS vehicle not a bogus title one.

I don't think people are really paying much for bad-title grey market 110's. The 83s floating around here are legit.

I think its just a tough market right now. Tons of my friends all say they want to buy a truck like mine, and I always inform them when trucks come on the market, but no one ever wants to put their money where their mouths are.

cool pics

Hey guys everyone has been asking the same questions...so here's the answers to the most common ones:

The vehicle doesn't have any major rust issues...everything works...fuel economy is in the low 20's...no a/c...no rear seat.

A buddy found some pics online of the previous owner testing it out before his Africa Expedition....check them out and don't miss clicking on the states for pics:

Marc:

Is this D-90 still for sale?

D-90 Source Members:

Have any of you local Georgia D-90 Source members seen/ inspected the vehicle (mechanical condition, Rust, etc.)

I DON'T believe Marc is being at all misleading, I'm just extra cautious as I'm not able to personally inspect.

Thanks,
