For Sale: 1994 Ex-POE Soft Top D90, Conniston Green

Hey everyone-

I'm selling my 94, the last POE truck made, #1729. It doesn't have a POE top anymore, rather, it has a beater fiberglass hardtop which I used in Russia. The original tickford is included but the condition is mediocre.

The chassis is extremely solid - excellent rear crossmember and chassis. The truck is cosmetically deficient, and the price reflects that, but automotively, she's very solid and was a good steed for a year in Moscow. There is a hole in the passenger footwell on the bulkhead, but I think this was caused by an AC leak or something, its an anomaly for the truck.

Some features:
Tire carrrier etc has been galvanized
VDO temp and oil pressure guages
Stainless oil cooler lines
Lots of stainless hardware
Southdown alloy fuel tank skid plate
Disco-II front drive shaft, dual tanks
Fuel tank switching solenoid (not wired up yet)
Mild OME lift
Recent clutch hydraulics, water pump, other maintenance items done
Alloy wheels to go with the truck.

Mileage is around 115k. Price is 16,500 or less.

For lots of pix, email me at jimcheney(at)hotmail(dot)com

I don't think its worth it for me - the original tickford just needs a cleaning and its alpine windows replaced.

That picture with the snow looks like it was taken on the Palisades Parkway in NY....my D90 used to trek that place in the snow

It does now - the PO (evilfij) took the hard top off, and sold it to ini88. He then bought a ST cage and installed it. I slapped a fiberglass top on it to get me through the Moscow winter. I like to consider myself hardcore, but I'm not hardcore enough to run a Tickford top with no alpine windows in Moscow when its minus 20 celcius.

Follow-up Post:

That picture with the snow was taken near the battlefield of Borodino where Napoleon's Grand Armee met Tsar Alexander I's force on their way to burn Moscow. That should bring back a nice Mil Art memory for you Ryan.

I dunno, I got the top from you, and only when I refolded it one time did I notice that they have holes in them. I've never used it.

Ok Mr. hard core. Which is it? A tiny fold hole or a 3 foot long snow collector?

I like to consider myself hardcore, but that does not mean I'm hardcore. I'm actually quite softcore, but if asked, I will represent myself as hardcore.

Nevertheless, I am honestly representing this truck!

Still available, but I've decided to bump the price up to 35k. I figure I'd like to really profit off this one.

No seriously, the price is negotiable. Offers under 16 are cool.
