I've run out of patience, money, and time on this dream. Simply said, I got in over my head.
Up for sale is my 1991 Range Rover Classic. This would be a great driver once the transmission is replaced, or a nice trail rig.
VA/NC car its entire life
Silver with dark grey interior
Engine runs strong
Leather is 8/10, nicest I found that was original
Hunter gun rack/dog barrier
All lights, radio, electrics work other than passenger recline function
No engine overheating
Looks like radiator and water pump were replaced at some point
No cracks in any glass
Body has no damage
Tailgate has no rust
Only dash light on is ABS light
What I have done:
Replaced fuel pump and both relays
Replaced driver side brake lines
Had used ABS pump installed
(all brake work done by Chip at UKMotorsports)
Replaced alternator belt
Put used BF Goodrich tires on with 90% tread
New NAPA Gold Battery
New wiper blades
Brand new Y pipe with cats
Rear window shocks
New fuel filter
Another used good ABS pump
Rear light guards, need powder coating
Transmission, currently parked with no tranny installed
Floorboards repaired at very front where mud flaps connected
Passenger seat switch does not recline
Fan/powersteering/AC belts will need replacing down the road
Roof paint faded
Rear tailgate flaking
Hairline crack in left exhaust manifold
Rear tailgate glass frame has some rust
$2,500 or best offer. Must be worth that in just parts. Just trying to recoup some of what I have in it with what I have done, outside of the tranny mess.
Must be able to tow away from Glen Allen, VA. Will assist in loading.
PM or call/text me with question...can provide more pics if needed.

Big shout out to Roverland Parts for supplying TWO bad transmissions, and causing me to spend $3,000 and still not have a working transmission in my classic. Yes I have had them torn apart by a new third party shop, and yes I have spoken to techs at ZF, it was faulty parts. There is a reason a rebuilt transmission is not quality for $1,116.00. Lessons learned.
