FOR SALE: 1989 Land Rover Range Rover Classic (lifted)

If youíre looking for a unique off-road vehicle that will absolutely go anywhere yet still can be driven as an everyday vehicle, here is your truck. This is a 1989 Land Rover Range Rover Classic. It has been meticulously built (as a go anywhere vehicle) for the past eleven years by my own bare hands and through every step of its formation has had the best service and upgrading a car could ask for. I have become a Land Rover enthusiast and learned this vehicle from top to bottom. I like Land Rovers so much I even bought another 1995 Range Rover Classic to play with as well. As I built this ORV I designed a vehicle that is not like any other and will stand out in a crowd no matter what. I installed the best of the best in service and parts on this vehicle. Words canít even explain how many hours have gone into this vehicle to get it to the point that it is now. It has been my hobby and my pride and joy and I hate to see it go. However, whoever decides to take this vehicle on will get the best looking well thought out Range Rover in the US.

For anyone who has dealt with automotive service centers, they know that when they take a part off to replace or diagnose a problem, the service crew does not take the time to clean internal or external components of parts. They fix only the part that was broken even it is means putting it back with other dirty parts around it. This was the reason I chose to install and service every part on this vehicle. From taking the engine apart to dismantling the dashboard to fix heater core, every part was cleaned and adjusted before refitting all components. So after each project the parts were at new condition when refitted to the vehicle.

This truck will go anywhere the heart desires. With a suspension system with 14Ē of travel, a large boulder is no match for this machine. The truck can cross nearly any obstacle. And even if an obstacle causes problems or the truck gets stuck, NOTHING is a match for the 12,000 lb winch. Four wheeling at night is not a problem at all either. With 4 sets of lights facing in every direction and the roof rack pre-wired for more lights, this truck lights up like a landing strip in the night. People can see you coming for miles. If a camping trip is your desire, just load up the truck and go. You can take it as far off of the normal path where no one is within miles. And even while you are that far away from civilization, the truck has a built in 350 watt power inverter. It can power a TV, microwave, spot lights, blender etc. just like a normal house outlet. This even comes in handy for concerts where tailgating is a must.

This is not a vehicle for everyone. I will use judgment when selling this vehicle to its new owner. I have put so much blood, sweat, and tears that I will make sure the new owner will take the same care of it.

I am pricing this vehicle to sell. At a price of $9,500 this vehicle will not be around for long. This description only says about a ľ of the information that really needs to be explained about this truck. Please feel free to call me with any questions or for further information.

Thanks,

Ryan Wilcox

You're looking for RRCs on a Defender website at 2005-2007 prices, but are looking for a deal, which these were not, even back then. I'd say try Craigslist, or maybe you'll luck out here from one of the other members who have a RRC they may be willing to part with. Also, Germany is far away from the US.

Threads aren't deleted here, because they provide valuable data (like prices) that people here like to look back at/on, and many of these can also be traced back through time as these trucks changed hands over time. People also like pictures, so deleting old for sale threads would be a disservice. Usually no one "bumps" 7-10 year old for sale threads, but we get that one "special" person from time to time. So consider yourself special. Welcome.

Ok well you bumped two for sale threads for Range Rover Classics so I thought that's what you were looking for. My bad.

You'll be more successful trolling the European sites. Most things listed here are overpriced and far far away. Though not as far away as Dagobah.

I believe the title of this thread is "1989 Land Rover Range Rover Classic." Just sayin.

I am equally confused.

The word "defender" never even showed up in this thread (or the other Range Rover Classic thread you posted in) until you posted in them 7-9 years after they were created.

What exactly were you searching when these showed up?

Yes and as I have previously stated I'm new to this whole scene hence the Mopar Title! I fell in love with the Defenders on a Motorcycle trip to Scotland last year and I have just recently had the time to actually start pokiing around and learn all abt them! So I'm still on a Learning curve. Finding European sites is also not as easy as you would think I have tried several for the UK, England, Scotland, ireland most don't list that average joe schmo selling his land rover or even aftermarket or used car sales. Don't know if I'm searching it wrong but 2 sites regularly come up, Gumtree, UK Autotrader Auto Trader wants a UK Zip and that is not helpful so if you know of any European sites please pass them on. I call it research you call it trolling

------ Follow up post added May 28th, 2014 09:38 PM ------

Rijosho, If this is a defender website why would someone post a RRC for sale? That doesn't make sense either!

------ Follow up post added May 28th, 2014 09:39 PM ------

I was seaching 110 or 130 Defender, also 110 HCPU, 130 HCPU, 110 Double Cab, 130 Double Cab You know the things that should be listed on a Defender website!
