For sale----1988 110 lhd 300 tdi

1988 Land Rover Defender 110 LHD, 300TDI with Air Conditioning!

This 5 door 110 was a nut and bolt restoration completed in 2013 and imported from the UK. I have all the CBP paperwork and it is currently tax, titled and licensed in NM. It runs and drives great! I use it as a daily driver. The seats are leather (exmoor) in the front and middle with a high-low-high seat combination in the middle. The rear folding seats are vinyl.

---

15,000 miles. 5-door Defender 110 with 300TDI motor and 5-speed R-380 manual transmission with manual locking center differential. Black Leather interior. Shifts smoothly and with a strong clutch. Full spare tire hanging (tire rack) on the rear door. Mantec metal covers the windows to prevent breaking the side windows or dogs jumping out. The rear has a dog cage separating the rear from the cab.

1988 Land Rover Defender 110 with A/C
- 2.5L 300TDI Turbo Diesel Motor
- 5-spd manual transmission R-380
- 5 Door Truck
- 9 Seater (all with seat belts)
- Clear CBP, DOT, and EPA paperwork
- Located in Clovis NM

Available for sale at $73,250 OBO

Interior: Air Conditioning! Front bucket seats black leather with a cubby in the center. Middle seats are a high-low-high configuration in black leather. Rear folding seats accomodate another 4 passengers. Dashboard is complete and functional. The Floor is carpeted with vinyl floor mats and rubber matting in the rear. There is a detachable face CD/FM/AM radio with Bluetooth and microphone for hands-free calling. The roof is carpeted for sound deadening. The rear door window has defrost and wiper. Alarm (2 key Fobs) with kill switch. All lights, electrics, and gauges work.

Exterior: Black paint and tinted windows. Galvanized chassis with wax-oil coating. Disc brakes all around. Fold down steps at each door. The rear hitch is adjustable (up and down) with a bull nose hitch with interchangeable ball. Spot lights on the front bumper provide great illumination on dark nights. The rear windows have a open metal cover to protect from thieves stealing or dogs jumping out.

Drivetrain: Motor fires quickly and pulls strong. Shifts easily through the gears, and is comfortable around 70 mph on the highway. Perfectly usable around-town. Turbo feels strong. Larger intercooler for the Turbo.

Maintenance history: I have all the build information and pictures. I have the full maintenance record since the build. Oils replaced every 6,000 miles, filters replaced every 12,000 miles. I also have a new fuel, oil, and air filter that will go with the vehicle.

Loads of more pics from the rebuild upon request.

Please drop a note if you're interested. Thanks so much!

Well that's awesome. Worth every penny if it's as clean as it looks. Good luck with the sale.

When did you end up bringing it over? I remember you'd had it for sale a couple of years ago when it was still abroad and everything was going down with the CBP on this side of the pond. Still looks awesome. Love the black.

No I know a few guys though. Kc135s at mildenhall then t6 now t38 and starting academics on the U2. Just a guess based on your current and previous locations.

You should keep the truck. It'll make you smile more in clovis. Not that you'll be there much I suppose.
