Let this serve as a data-point for the WTB thread as well.

One thing though, it may serve everyone's best interest to post some recent pictures (those pics look great, but they appear to be from when you imported it 3 years ago). Otherwise, looks great and GLWS

Thanks for the reference.
Yes, you're right; most of the pictures were taken in the UK just prior to its export. But two of the pictures are more recent - these are with the silver Wolf rims. I apologize for not having more recent pictures, but I will say that the vehicle is essentially in the same condition; I've only put about 5,000 miles on it since its arrival in the USA.
I will have more pictures taken soon. Unfortunately the vehicle is in storage up state, so I may not be able to post more pictures until later next week.

The waxoyl applied to the chassis by Foley was the clear-type, not black. Sorry if it's difficult to see.

2003 didn't have the salisbury anymore.

Hi Doug, yes it's a reluctant sale indeed.
Yes we did travel overland London to Cape Town after all. We rented a 110 SW from Foleys in 2010. Awesome experience. 25,000 miles, 24 countries, 6 months. Thinking of these memories doesn't help in wanting to sell!

Thanks for clarifying re: axle.

I'm not absolutely sure of the type, but I do know that Foleys used a clear version of the usual black waxoyl. The pictures don't show it well, I realize now.

Just to clarify a bit more: I am currently living in Cape Town, South Africa. The Land Rover is in PA, and my father is caretaker of the vehicle, which is currently in storage in upstate PA. I am selling because my wife and I are looking to 'settle down' in Cape Town and purchase property.

The Land Rover has seen very little use in the past 3 years. I just put nearly 2,000 miles on it, covering PA/DE/MD and PA/NJ/NY/CT/MA and back, when I was visiting the states last November, and the truck ran wonderfully.

I will post new pictures of the vehicle next week, as it sits in storage. We can arrange for the vehicle to be hauled down to the Harrisburg area if it helps to view it in person. For a fee, my dad is able to deliver by trailer within 700 miles, excluding downtown/metro areas of major cities.

Thoffman, I'd be interested in meeting up to see it in person.

I was going to ask where this truck went, but it looks like it's at ECR now getting some stuff done to it. Tim I hope you established a cap on what you'd pay ECR to have the bulkhead repaired for the new owner.

"So... when we brought the 110 into the shop we gave it a quick look over. It turns out the 110 has been in a roll over accident and it was not repaired properly in the UK. The bulkhead is in terrible shape and held together with patches and body filler. We let the customer know this and he contacted the seller of the 110 and they have made an arrangement for us to replace the bulkhead and do a proper job. There is good and bad here. Its good that the seller agreed to go good for the repairs, but it is also bad that this 110 did have a pre-purchase inspection and this obvious damage was not caught, and if we hadn't seen the 110 would the damage have been disclosed? Buyer beware folks with these imported trucks. So change in plan... out comes the bulkhead"
