Nope they work on the older style doors too...Arkonik uses them on all their builds. And they use new OEM doors - correct to year model - so they have the sharp corners. The seal has a little push in plug that you will need to drill the hole for.

But yeah - they are the bomb.

they fit on my original 1988 110 doors

They fit on my 1988 110 doors and helped seal them way better than stock. Do need to drill some new holes though

Hope the response been encouraging. Beautiful truck and unfortunately the type that can pay don't appreciate the effort and smarts that go into a vehicle like this. Guess that's no different than anywhere else really. I've never met a CEO that could do even a 1/3 of the work or the hours those that support him/her do.

I also say "WOW." That truck is SOOOO nice. Almost too nice. I've had over 40 cars in the last 25 years; I've spent gobs of cash making some of them nicer than they were when they left the showroom floor. Unfortunately for me, when it came time to sell, I never recovered what I had in them. Great deal for the buyers! All my buddies want to buy cars from me because they know I make them perfect, then sell them on at a deal. Some of them I should have held on to a little longer and waited for the value to shoot up. Others never would have anyway and they became labors of love. I hope the value of these Defenders goes up and you can recoup your investment.

You haven't met the right CEOs then. Some of us built our company from scratch and have done every job we've hired additional people to do.

That being said, this CEO still couldn't afford this stunning restoration

No doubt a lot of work went into this truck.

I'd say the reason it's not getting the asking price is the paint and wheels. Traditional is nice and all but it doesn't look like a $100K truck. It doesn't have any wow factor. Just some new wheels would make a big difference.

Each to their own, but willow green is a pretty desirable color for a 110 to most enthusiasts, and it's not exactly traditional given that it was never a factory color for 110s (it was on 97 LE 90s). Several of the nicest 110s out there have been painted Willow (e.g., ECR and a couple other board members here). And steel wheels always look good on 110s and 90s.

Of course, I'm biased since I sold this truck to Tim a couple years ago.

Good luck with the sale, Tim.

Can't believe this hasn't sold yet. Fantastic truck, love the paint and wheels, very tastefully done. The right buyer will come along.
