Just a feeler for an absolutely gorgeous, and all original (minus eas) 1995 LWB. 1 California owner for 22 yrs. 164k miles on coils with Bilsteins. $15k is the Defender Source member price.

Clean Carfax provided: SALHF1342SA651836

The intention was to go straight to BaT, but if someone here was interested, I'd want to make sure that you had first crack at it. If nobody is interested, $15k will be the reserve when we web it.

Back story is interesting, but not as unique as the truck. The second and third "owners" have been registration intermediaries so to speak. As I was told, 2nd was the transport driver for the original owner's other antiques and was offered as payment. Must have been quite a collection. Not being an enthusiast, he sold it to my friend who couldn't resist it! However, after the buzz wore off, he decided that it was way too nice to be a daily and wanted to sell it and buy a clean, but average classic, and not stress city parking.

This all California truck is in phenomenal condition for being an unrestored truck. British Racing Green on Light Stone. Very straight and absolutely rust free. Leather is in fantastic condition with only the driver's seat looking as if it was sat in, showing far less than average wear at the seat base, and is not cracked or torn. Perfect headliner that I'm sure was redone at some point, as they all eventually sag, and this one looks new. Perfect dash with a flawless gauge bezel and an un-cracked radio surround. I've never seen one without so much as a hairline crack.

Current IPhone pics will justify my statements but belie its true condition. Pro shots and a more formal FS ad will soon do it justice. I'm happy to show anyone a picture or video of anything I've omitted in this quick effort at a listing. However, some of the expected money shots are below.

I don't normally offer vehicles for sale, as I'm usually just a buyer, but I'm listing this on behalf of my friend who doesn't have the time or inclination to do so. It's still his truck, although I have the title and am empowered to sell it. The buyer will be owner #4, but essentially the second real owner if you keep it for more than a month ;-) Happy viewing.

All the best-Dave

Of course. More info and pics to come. I just put this out quickly from my phone. I'll check its record book. I know I have the recent work, but I'll inquire about previous 20 ought yrs.

I'd buy it myself, but I prefer to have something to fix up and still have two '95's that fit the bill. I just really enjoy both the process and the hunt for parts. This one is truly just too nice.

I also a have a new set of Wet Okole seat covers for additional $ and full bumper covers if someone prefers the nudge bar swapped.

New mud flaps are going on tomorrow. Also, full lwb rubber mats, running boards, TWR's, etc are all available for a bit extra.

Sorry for the delay. Been trouble shooting the cruise control. 6 cc ecu's later, some new tube, a freed dump valve and a unlocked pump solenoid, I now have my first fully functional Land Rover cruise control! I remember my first car, my first kiss, my first... well, you get the point. But my first computer controlled throttle was a new one! Here are some of the rest of the money shots. Classic look has been restored with the removal of the brush bar. I can return to it if a buyer prefers. Some of the expected, yet unique, notables include a perfect rearview mirror, perfect (as new) cargo area side window gaskets, seat pillars, boot deck and floors, headliner, etc...

Just a quick caveat; These are the raw pics. Just an iPhone and before I went to work on it. So what you see is how it was... very clean. A couple pine needles and leaves in the catch areas and some dirt and dust. After it's detailed, I'm sure it will show better ;-)

Oh, tyres are almost new, if not new, and the cyclones are in very good shape. I'll post pics and depth tomorrow. And remember, TWRs are available to swap if you would prefer a less than "bone stock" look. I do! ;-)

Note: this pic is of Nick's (Ntan) new grocery getter. But a true twin truck. Just for wheel option reference.

Just a due diligence bump for the owner.

Off to the detailer in the next couple of days and then some real pics! ;-)

Haha, probably, but I just used a pic from Nick's newest TWR set up for a wheel option reference that I'm willing to supply. The truck I'm slinging is just a twin of his.

Greetings from Westchester County NY. I am very proud to say I bought this beautiful RRC. This will be my first Rover and I am excited to be a part of the community.

I owe a big thank you to Dave for being incredibly insightful, direct and responsive in the sale process. Dave, thank you again.

Any suggestions folks might have for transcon shipping would be appreciated.
