Does anyone know this D90?

Hi,

Just been looking at this D90 to buy and a couple of things in its history dont add up so just wondering if anyone knew it?

It's a 1995 Defender, 2 door wagon, 3.9l with AC and 49,000 miles.

VIN: SALDV3286SA978340
257/500

Carfax mentioned it had an accident in 2010 and then got auctioned which i doubt would ever happen unless something was wrong.

I may of course be totally wrong but just wanted a second opinion...

Thanks for your time,

Donald

PS Looking to had a Defender hard top to my collection so if anyone has/or knows of one for sale let me know.....thanks.

Googling a vin number is often a great idea. Did yours and it's well known on this forum

When I read your description my immediate reaction was its been totaled and sold in an insurance auction I suspect it was flood damaged. That looks to be true.
So it's down to the quality of the rebuild.....
