Defender Tithonus 1986 for sale

I have been instructed to help sell this Defender Tithonus,1986.RHD Hardtop.2.5N/A diesel, with good R380 gearbox.Good straight rustfree body and chassis, very nice exmoor interior, comes with all usual Tithonus rebuild modifications. This vehicle runs and drives well. But is direct from military reserve stocks,-hence i cannot offer a guarentee. It has no major issues. But will need minor servicing/recommissioning etc due to storage.Price 5000=($8250) and delivery to a UK port 500=($825). I have the army dating certificate and it has visible frame number which is correct for year.UK export certificate will take approx 3 weeks to obtain. Please email if interested ukengine@gmail.com phone 01144+1743 718939. Stefan.

Both. The truck runs on 12v but has/had a 24v system for the radios.

12 or 24 volts.

Yes, this is a 12 volt vehicle. It has had the heavy 24 v generator removed, that powered the military radio's.The wiring is still there,(which most people leave in situ). And use the 24v battery box as lockable storage or remove box entirely.

Not heavy enough.

The 2.5NA on the other hand would make a great anchor....
