Defender 90

Queen's Yeomanry British Army LHD Diesel 90.
Served in Iraq, had desert paint and inverted 'V' symbols.
Stripped, repainted, heavy duty hoop set fabricated.
Engine remanufactured in 2006, only 4220 km on it. Vehicle manufactured in 1987.
Comes with Hard Top and Sand Canvas Soft Top
$37,000
In Virginia Beach with full VA title.
I want to sell it to get another one (Turbo Diesel) as I have enjoyed doing this one so much with my brother and nephew in Ireland.
Loads more I can tell you about it, have a look!

Nicely done. Can you sell my truck too, then? I'd entertain offers in the $50k range. Pics can be found here:

People love a bit of history with a military Landy. This one had been to war three times. Including Hard Top, Soft Top and heavy duty hoop set with new guaranteed paint (5 years) seems to help too.

Purely out of curiosity, how did/do you prove that, besides the military paint?

Very nice. Mine has been to the mall three times, and to Maine twice. At $50k mine would come with 5 Badger soft tops and a North American Spec padded roll cage (can actually save your life) and the paint has lasted 18 years so far with many years still left. If you had a bidding war (I'm assuming that's the war it was in?) for your truck at $37k, please pass the other person along to me.

Maaco would be better paint than I've got....

I'd be tempted, but the maaco here closed.

And if it will get me $37k I'll have them paint it twice.

If the military stories are true, then this truck has real land rover credibility. A legit diesel lhd "army" truck would be very desirable, and if this guy got 37k that proves it. Lets not hate.... The NAS trucks wish they were this.

British military lhd? They made these???

Of course I'm serious -three wars, remember?

Seriously though it's a lot for a 90 of course but I can see this truck really appealing to a certain type of person. And lets face it, there are plenty of people out there who can drop37k if they find just what they want. And that's not even up in the Copley, ecr crowd ranks..... Mil rovers are cool, especially if they've been gone over and aren't shit piles. Id rather have something like this than a crazy ecr beach runner douche mobile, and im sure there others who may agree... This one looks good, and for a guy who wants a cool mil truck, might have been the perfect fit.

Now I can tell.

I kind of like that mine is somewhat a pile. Then I don't feel so bad if it rubs a tree. I just wish the paint would stay on it while driving down the highway.
