That kind of depends on what you want. Do you want all that stuff that person did or would a solid basic Defender do it for you? I wouldn't let location be the key factor in you buying decision. There are a ton of guys out there that can help you find and inspect these trucks once you know what you want. Very sorry if this in any way comes off at patronizing.

I'm guessing this is actually Pete's truck...not one he's looking at to buy.

Sorry. I should of been more specific. It is my truck. Does the market support this price? If not, I'll just have pull it off and wait because I put too much into it.

Thanks for your replies.

IMO, It would take a special buyer to move it at that price. These rigs are money pits and a labor of love. Keep it, drive it, and enjoy what you've built.

You make a good point. I listed it on eBay to see what happens with a low reserve. If it does not go for the reserve, I'm keeping it.

If you had built a 110 instead of a 90 you'd be able to get a little more money out of it, but you have built that 90 to your specific needs instead of something generic - so basically it will first take a buyer who really wants all that stuff you've put in it - and then someone who has the CASH to purchase at that price.

Take all that stuff off of it (obviously not the cage at this point since you've already cut holes) and see if you can get someone to go for it for $10k less but be prepared for offers in the teens.

You'll probably be better off just keeping it though.

The set reserve is below 30k. I'm going to try to sell it as a package or keep it or a while.

Thanks for the reply.

Do you have a door fitted on the back when it's in soft top configuration?
