Seller comes off as very intellectually challenged...so it might be a great deal for someone.

Somewhat off on the pricing, but one of the best quotes I've ever heard...

I wonder where at in Vernon. I work in Vernon and there isn't much residential at all there. The city is like 98% commercial/industrial with a couple of small pockets of houses here and there..

He's right, 20k is about half market value for that truck.

What would be a reasonable price on this you think? Where's the pricing at in general on 130s these days? There are so few that ever come up for sale it's tough to keep your finger on the pulse for pricing on these animals.

It clearly hasn't run in a long time. Even with a bad engine etc worth saving.

Engine-schmengine...yank that thing out and throw a Tdi in it! Curious about the "3.9" statement though, I wonder if he actually meant 3.5? Since he references the LPG conversion (at least I *think* that's what he meant to say) I'm guessing that was done in the UK...and they weren't big on the 3.9 there were they?

In 1984 the 3.9 was just a twinkle in poppa's eye.

Not sure if someone would scam on this...seems too obscure of a vehicle, and probably dependent on an in person PPI.

Ditto. I would take Jimmy's Tdi DC over this 1000 times over.

Think the date is Feb 1. Many are licking their chops for this unique opportunity. Bidding starts at $1. No reserve, NoVA HH participants only, cash and carry. The carry part precludes your FaceTime HH participation of course. .

It's completely based off of what someone will pay. Recently my boss was looking into selling his, LHD 127 w/ 200Tdi for low $20s(he decided to restore it instead, so please keep the PMs at bay)

The problem he found is that if this really is legal(127) it would have the additional portion of the chassis welded in, where he found it rusted the most which causes structural issues.

My point was that (almost)nobody would pay $50k if this thing was resprayed with new wheels and tires. It's still a RHD V8 with a super rough body and not much info on chassis/bulkhead etc.
