Hey Gustavo,
May I ask where you got the SG hitch? I'm trying to start scouting out what to replace my dragging shovel with eventually.

good luck with the sale

You sticking with a defender? 90 or 110? No desire to convert to auto?

I think a 200tdi will be a bad combo. besides the cost of converting will not make sense.

Yeap sticking with LWB defender.

Don't know if I missedthis somewhere but how did you break your foot. Too bad you can't talk Mrs. Rubbier into the 110

On another note, it is a beautiful truck. Did you mount your speakers above the driver/passenger in the headliner?

Originally I had a Jet Ski ( Racing ) accident that required 2 pins in my ankle.
2 months ago , Mrs Rugbier b-day, we went out ( she was rushing to get ready and left the Hair Dryer on the floor - we have a powder room before the bathroom ), in the middle of the night I woke up for a bathroom trip and VOILA, stepped on the dryer and my foot gave in disslodging the pins.
So now I need to go from M14 bolts to M16 *LOL*.

She is not a car girl ( if you remember last year I got rid of a 360 Modena , cause she wouldn't drive it ), she likes her LR3 to drive around, and that is it.

The Speakers were mounted on the headliner when I got the 110

I was in your neighborhood yesterday playing golf at Hayfields in Hunt Valley but didn't have any extra time to come by to look at Shrek before you part with it...maybe I can make it up in the next week or two if I can get my other projects done.

Good luck with the sale!

This is my old truck. I did the tdi and lhd conversions. What Gustavo has done to the truck is amazing. What he doesn't say in his listing is that he took it of the road in December and it was worked on every single day for months-I think the project ended in late April. The doors are rust free rollups, the frame and bulkhead are rust free. This is a get in and go anywhere truck. All work has been done to a very high quality. The seats are all black leather exmoor units. The rear axle is a disc brake Salisbury.....very, very nice 110.

I don't know how you could let it go Gustavo.
Wish I had the cash for such a beautiful truck.

Good luck with the sale!

Seems like the natural consequence is to HAVE to drive the 110 and you get the LR3 until you recover
