What has happened to it to cause you to sell it......repair wise?

I sold my 94 three years ago and had to get another one. Never forgave myself for selling it.

I keep selling mine and then get upset after I do. Short of a high dollar offer or severe financial distress, chicky is staying with me until I die.

Chicky just rescued the lwb. I put on of the "dead" ignition modules in it so the figure skater could drive it (she forgot to renew the registration on her car WTF--who does that? -- I warned her the lwb might die, but it ran for 10minutes in the driveway so I thought it would be ok) and it died a half mile from the house. Get in chicky, get the tow chain and tow the lwb back home and wait for Will Tillary to get me my new ignition modules to me.

Ron,

You just gotta love them Lucas ignition modules. After having one fail on me, I always carry at least two spares. I actually replaced the original with a new one for some preventive maintenance in 2006, threw the old one under the passenger seat. Then in 2007 the new one failed; after eliminating the fuel system, I replaced the ignition module with the original one (along the side of the road). She has run fine ever since. About two years ago, an experienced LR mechanic who moved to Ferraris, told me I should always carry a spare module. The failure mode of the first one to fail was interesting, seemed like when it got hot it would fail intermittently until it completely went kaput!

Rocketman, that is why I ordered one new one and two used ones as spares they just have not arrived yet. Chicky killed hers and my spare with the starter short so the LWB donated its to chicky.

TTT, rodded, boiled, flow/pressure tested radiator back in. Rebuilt belt tensioners, waiting on a valve cover gasket and radiator hose before its test driveable for those that are interested. All this truck needs is a Mantec Tire carrier, winch, dual battery's and an ARB fridge..
