d-90 project for sale..

Looks like the d-90 I recently bought as a project is not going to get done as I am running out of time (see my camel trophy round the world project) to get it done the way I want it..I will be selling the whole truck PLUS the parts it was missing (which I had in my warehouse...ready to do whatever you wanted to do to it to make it one BAD_ASS trail rig like I was going to do...has hard top on it which I think you could easily sell for good money...at least enough to make one custom roll bar set-up...looking for around the $10,000 mark...and no...I will not part it out..

Is that the same truck that was up north that didn't have a title but a salvage certificate or something like that?

I just have to come to the realisation that I have X amount of time and to do a truck the way I wanted it done and then not get to use it would kill me.....I am sure someone else will get much more enjoyment out of it...and if I look at it the other way it was/is a savings account...just somewhere to put my money until I get it back...LOL..I checked with my title/lien agancy and she said the title isn't a problem..once back on the road it goes to a DMV and they verify vin and operational and then it gets a rebuilt title... yes I have the original vin plate for it or I have a vin plate and title from a 1995 discovery (not that I am suggesting you do anything "illegal")..

Sorry aboout that...been really freaking busy and thought I had answered .. Yes, it is a salvage rebuildable title..I have all the parts in the original ad plus the bits it was missing..like the radiator (only if going back to gas engine), the complete wiring harness...the dash and instrument cluster..I would guess the truck was 90% before now i would have to say its 99%..I am sure there are going to be some miscellaneous stuff here and there and i probably have them laying around but the large items are there to make a pretty cool truck, I will try and get some pics of everything tomorrow and go from there..

Well it appears this baby has a new owner, hopefully Ian will have better luck with his time management skills... My Ideas were bigger than my calendar... Just stay away from planning a drive round the world 2 year long trip and I think you should be fine... Lol...

Thx Shayne.

Probably not much better than you to begin with on the time issue. Its destined to go into storage for a while once we get it here to AZ and I have sorted through it. Gonna be bit before I have the time and budget to do the rebuild properly and there is no point half assing it. Still researching and planning a bunch of the stuff anyway so thereís no rush.

Looks like I owe you a beer at the Expo.

Ian
