Thanks Jbirdlott, It's pretty evident that you have alot of knowledge about control** (sarcasm)** . I've worked for Harley for many years, and you actually have more control with Apes. As any avid rider would know you PUSH TO TURN.. That's where Leverage becomes a factor..** (sarcasm)** .
And thanks Woldd90, I just found this forum seems pretty great, just trying to get a Defender, and this is the only way I can right now! thanks...

Keep it AND buy a Defender. They make great accessories. Here's Harley Dyna Street Bob (lost in Sandy) next to the D90.

Classy. As we all should have responded. Apologies and back bite Bryon. If it was a buell I'd possibly interested in trade. happy ventures.

I agree with Jeff - trading a bike for a defender has a very limited audience ... Trading a defender for a pile of cash after liquidating a bike has a very broad audience.

Not sure about you claims about better control using ape hangers ... I think Keith Code would have a few comments on the subject.

I'll take a pile of cash! One last comment on "Ape Hangers". I've been through class on a bike... Don't remember the subject coming up. Ignorant of statistics and effective safe design.. 'Hands to the sky' away from your body and as far as some take it with hands and feet position... A 'Spread eagle' position is a pretty vulnerable one, no matter the reason or situation.
