Completely restored Defender 110 5 door

1985 Land Rover Defender 110 Station Wagon converted to LHD
Vehicle is titled in Nevada as a 1985 Land Rover Defender and passed the smog test.
4.2 ltr engine and 14cux fuel injection all from a 94 RR Classic lwb.
189,000 km when I got it from the UK. 900 miles on it since the restoration.
Automatic transmission, 1.4 to 1 Transfer case, Air Conditioning, 24 spline front axle with vented disc brakes. Salisbury rear end converted to disc brakes. Boost wheels with 4 brand new 285/75/16 BFG KM2ís. Iím proud to say this truck doesnít leak anything, has no overheating issues and is virtually rust free.
This truck is my daily driver. It is quite peppy and drives super nice on the highway, very stable. I hate to sell but now the wife and I are wanting to buy a house and I have no down payment money (itís all in this truck!). Please see my build thread (Samís 110 resurrection) before asking questions. If youíre a serious buyer Iíll be happy to answer your questions via phone (702)379-2966 or email sammcbirney@gmail.com. I canít take personal calls during working hours but leave me a message and Iíll call back after 2pm pacific time. I have invested a lot of time and money into this truck and would like to sell it to a Defender enthusiast who would appreciate all the work. I donít expect to be compensated for the thousands of hours I spent on this truck as it was a labor of love. Just trying to recoup the money Iíve got into it. Iíve been watching the Defender market for a while and I think this is a pretty good deal. I realize I'm no ECR but I think it's a pretty nice truck.

Hereís a partial list of things that are brand new on the truck:
Aluminum radiator and radiator hoses, electric cooling fan, front left wing, rear door, numerous dash pieces including all VDO gauges, turn/horn switch, JVC blue tooth and usb capable radio/cd player, NAS brake booster and master cylinder, Old Man Emu NitroCharger Sport Shocks, Tires, water pump, fuel pump, power steering pump and hoses, led lights, head lights, wheel spacers, paint, engine mounts, all new fasteners, auxiliary transmission cooler, 5 door seals, various other seals and gaskets. The truck also has numerous good used parts purchased right here from D-90 source members. Iíve got a giant stack of receipts. Iíve also spent over $4000 just in media blasting and automotive paints alone. $40k or best offer

Geez.

I hate to see you sell it. I enjoyed following your build thread. Best of luck with the sale, someone will get a nice rig.

that is a really well done 110! Really like the O ring tie downs in the back and cool back seat, kinda jeepish but I think that's one of the things Jeep got right. Stoked for you and good luck on the sale!

Sam, sorry to see it go...but that's a heck of a deal for the amount of work you've put into it and the level of quality. Someone will end up with a very nice truck!

Nicely done. I didn't see the build thread (my life is a fawkin build thread, so I tend to ignore most others) but I can really appreciate the work that went into this, that said 40k is a real deal.

new expansion complete. Not only are we the only Rover shop in Eliot Maine...now we're also the biggest.

I would love to be able to buy this truck, consider wifey still gives me crap for buying a vehicle that only has two seats and that she can't drive. If I could get a reasonable price on my 94NAS, this would be perfect for my family of 5. Really beautiful 110. ugh

Sam, that's a really nice 110.
lots of pretty shiney metal bits underneath!
Actually, this is a LOT of truck with the right stuff for that kind of money.

Super truck. Can I ask where you sourced the aluminum radiator from and how much that cost?
