97 disco

Rust free 97. Odd truck. Has five speed R380 and a 4.0. No sunroofs and has a cloth interior. Pretty straight! Runs pretty good but seems to have a bad ring as it is building pressure in the crankcase. PO had heads rebuilt. 1000.00. With clean title.

You sure it is not a 96?

When you say building pressure, you just mean crankcase pressure not that it is pressurizing the coolant system?

Did you replace the PCV hoses?

They only got emission controls for auto in 97 viz Defender. Caster wheels are another giveaway.

Coolant system is fine. By pressure I mean if you open the oil cap air is blowing out.

It may be a 96. I don't have the title in front of me. I will confirm when I return.
