97 Coniston Green SW 146K miles $25,000
97 Coniston Green SW 146K miles $25,000 located in York, Maine (1 hour north of Boston.) More pictures to come.
"Solid" frame according to my former mechanic but has surface rust. Recent work includes: new galvanized rear crossmember, new galvanized fuel tank cradle, new fuel flex lines at tank, new fuel pump, new rear rotors, calipers, pads, brake lines, brake fluid. Repair corrosion at driver’s side kick panel and footwell, passenger side kick panel and footwell, new galvanized inner and outer footwells. Remove and replace worn and damaged rear suspension. Remove and replace front suspension and front shock towers (galvanized.) Fabricate and install battery box repair section, paint and waxoyl. Oil cooler lines were replaced years ago. NRP exhaust.
Engaging the high beams blows the 30 amp fuse in the engine compartment. I've been told it's a ground but that's all I know. All three door frames are rusty and the rear is really bad. Wipers occasionally won't turn off even though I've replaced the switch. Have to get out of the truck and force them into park position. PITA. Bonnet release cable doesn't work. Headliner sags a bit around alpine windows. Small creases in both rear quarter panels.
Paint is faded in areas and there is bubbling around some cappings and rivets.
Price is $25,000 firm as it sits or $27,500 firm with:
2 front NTO Alpine White doors (driver's door has two small dings)
2011 Puma rear door
NOS side steps and mounting hardware
Coniston Green door sills
Wraparound brush bar
Rusty rear step bumper (needs sandblasting and welding in step area)
I think there's money in here for someone to wheel it for awhile, put the doors and accessories on, paint it, waxoyl the frame, and sell it on eBay which is what I'm going to do (minus the wheeling) if it doesn't sell here.
